“ ah, they didn’t tell you? ” she supposed it was old news by now, with other & newer office gossip having taken its place instead. and she was on paper still named hirsch, considering that was on her birth ceritficate. not much of a surprise that he wasn’t aware of this new addition to her father’s life. “ 007, james? i’m his daughter. but i agree though he can be quite something. ” oh her father was a lot of things alright. and what he was really depended on who she asked.

             agents were easy to clock. this one wasn’t stupid enough to have an ear piece at least, but it was in the way they held themselves. this one was-- well he was either american or british, she couldn’t quite pin it. but she did make sure he was on the other side of the building when he carried out her objective. the various international intelligence agencies might be courting this scum as a double agent, but yelena didn’t forgive his crimes so easily. two bullets to his gut, but, damn, that agent was better than she thought. she dropped the gun as he came into the room, the pistol clattering to the floor as she forced a shake into her hands, stepping away as a look of hysteria came over her. ‘ i-- i didn’t mean to. he came after me. ‘ oh yes, she could play the part of shocked victim long enough for him to pass her off as unimportant.
