I'll admit, I've been holed up in my room for a few days after everything with that TV head guy. And there are already so many ducks here.

Interesting though, I'll keep an eye out.

At All Costs

Nova ran into the lobby of the Hazbin Hotel, her eyes widening at the statue of a giant dragon. She huffed and puffed, and her hair turned back into the black, pixie cut as the fire in her hair died. She had recently popped up in this strange place, and saw an ad on a nearby TV in a shop window about the grand reopening of the Hazbin Hotel, and its ongoing goal to rehabilitate sinners after one of its first guests was sent to Heaven.

Nova then realized two things.

One: she was in Hell.

Two: she needed to get to this hotel.

Finding an empty front desk, she strolled over and read the note next to a gold bell.

The name sounded strange, but she was no expert. Gently tapping the gold bell, she heard a gentle tone ring out in the empty room and she waited for an answer.

Good to see Hell is a chaotic as always. You're supposed to be one of those new over-whatsits, right? Can't say I've watched much of your stuff, TV rots the brain and all.

Good evening, Lulu! I assume you recall that box-headed TV sinner that hooked you up to a giant canon battery? The one who abducted you and almost blew up Hell, and Charlie with it?

Now, he is giving me quite the headache, and I would like to return the favour. So... would you mind us getting out together for tea, or whatever shit you enjoy drinking, from time to time?

Uh sure. Tea is fine. But why would you and I drinking tea together give him a headache?

Vox sneaks into Lucifer's tower through the window. In fact, he isn't even that sneaky about it.

"You know," he says instead of "hello", "I was gonna wait for you outside, but you haven't left this place in a week. Not even once. You either never leave the hotel or never leave your tower. Have you ever considered, I don't know, showing your face outside once in a while? Maybe whole Pride ring would despise your family a little less"

He carefully puts a particularly chubby duck on the table and takes a step back.

"An offering of peace," he says, "Maybe also a bribe? Depends on how our talk goes"

Lucifer sits up from his couch in surprise at the sudden intrusion.

"Ah- Uh what- how did you get in?"

He brushes himself off and straightens his clothing, trying to seem unbothered as he settles back down from the sudden interuption.

"What do you want? Here to trick me again? Trying for another shot at blowing up Heaven and Hell?" He asks, ignoring the jab about his family.

*A soft buzz sounds on Lucifer's phone, he had received a new message.*

"Hello, my dear. It's been quite a while.🐤."

*Lucifer glances at his phone and nearly throws it across the room on accident when he sees the message. He stares at it for a minute or two, then types and deletes a dozen messages before he finally sends one.*

"Hey darling. How are you?"

Reunion

[Part 1] @first-sinner-of-hell

Lucifer finds himself wandering Cannibal Town rather early the next morning, anxiety getting the better of him. He knows Lilith won't be here until afternoon but he can't stand the thought of missing even a moment with her.

He alternates pacing the small green park and sitting on the bench at the statue's base, head turned to stare at the representation of his family rendered in stone. It seems so long ago since they were all together.

He ends up staring at the statue for such a long time that he nearly misses the portal opening nearby, the surge of magic instead snapping his attention to the faint tear in the air, expanding outwards.
