Well.

Well this was awkward to say the least. Cayne frowned over at the man leaning against him, head ducked, completely invisible under his stupid boonie that kept jabbing Cayne in the face every time he tried to shift away from the man with out totally jarring him. Fuck. 

He couldn't even remember how he'd gotten in this situation to begin with. One minute he was talking to ever one else, Price being his usual grouch of a self sitting on one side of him, the next, everyone had filtered out, deciding to turn in for the night, leaving him here. With, essentially, anti-personnel mine attached to his shoulder. One wrong move, and disastrous things were almost inevitable. 

There was no way he could sift enough to get his phone out of his pocket to text Rex to get his ass back downstairs and help him for bloody fucking christ's sake. 

Cayne sighed, ultimately defeated. Maybe if he brought Rex into it, it wouldn't be so bad? He'd have to risk it. 

"Hey, uh. Sir?" He nudged the man next to him just hard enough that, hopefully, he'd feel it. "I think Rex is calling for you."

Haven’t really spoken with Price much during my time on base. Don’t know the details, but him and MacTavish go way back, same with him and Sandman. 

MacTavish really looks up to Price, speaks about him like he’s a father figure to him. Sandman on the other hand…I don’t know, really. Just from the way I’ve noticed them look at each other, I can tell there’s a lot between them.
