It was late at night, but despite feeling already tired, Hyejin couldn’t help but to feel a smile push up by the corners of her lips.
“Emanuel?” She called one of her employee’s as he filled the truck with another full bag of product, which he laid carefully by the last stack him and the others had pulled up.
“Yes, miss Hwasa?” The male called his boss by the name and bowed slightly with his head in a mean to be respectful.
“Is it the last one?” She questioned and in response the male nodded and kept breathing heavily as he was obviously tired from this point. All of them were actually.
The had been every since the first ours of dusk pilling up the last arrival of narcotics into a truck to distribute by their vendors and because the night of work had ended, she just told them to go home safely and assured that she would be well.
She did wanted to also go already, because she would have a date with her boyfriend Ki and soon enough he could come by -- or he should’ve already. They kind of had scheduled for a some minutes prior, but because she understood that he could be running a little late for work or stuck on traffic, while she also had to finish up counting all the cargo, she just let herself relax and got up in the truck’s trunk so she could do such task.
What she wasn’t count on was what happened next.
A hand flew around her neck, which she at first though to be Ki being playful, but once noticing that because of the push her back was flying towards the floor and railing that supported most of the weight of the cargo, she knew that she had to react.
Without letting her back, neck or head touch the surface, she supported her hands onto it on time, did a hand stand which permitted her to push her feet into the other unknown male’s chin and once he was hissing and holding his chin in pain, she was able to flip herself back to the rightful position.
From there, she swiftly threw kicks and even tried to throw a few punches, but because they had more technique than her to avoid her attacks, which now weren’t that much of a surprise anymore, they took advantage of her long hair and pulled her by it with force to cause her to scream and be in place for enough time to kick her hard into the stomach.
