The Best Thing That Has Happened At BookNotes
Hi everyone! We know we haven't posted in a while. Unfortunately, we here at BookNotes live pretty hectic lives. However, we're still committed to this project as ever, and we'd like to share something with you guys that is probably the best thing to come out of BookNotes so far. So, a while ago, we got this e-mail from a lovely reader named Jessica:
"I bought this book in Charlotte NC over two months ago and tucked it away because at about the same time I bought it I found out I was moving to Northern New York (it was on short notice). At the time I finally was ready to read it, my husband and I were going back and forth about trying to conceive. Since we had just moved we were trying to figure out when would be the right time. Needless to say when I found this note…I started crying!! You guys are so right…the time will never be just right or “perfect”!
So long story short…we are now trying! And when my little girl or boy is old enough to understand I will tell him or her about the Friendly Neighborhood Nerdfighters and how they came into their mother’s life at the perfect time.
And, last month, we got the best surprise of a lifetime. Jessica e-mailed us back to say that she was 23 weeks pregnant with a little baby girl! She also included a picture of the ultrasound, but we opted not to include that out of respect for her privacy. Anyway, we'd like to give a huge thank you to Jessica for keeping us updated, and reminding us about the never-ending power of books. It always amazes us that this amount of happiness and positivity can be even remotely influenced from this project. If you're reading this, Jessica, we thank you so so so much! And, we wish you, your husband, and your little baby girl a lifetime of health and happiness :) Thanks for reading this, guys, and as always, don't forget to be awesome!
