💬What was your last five-star read? . For me it was The Darkest Sunrise by @authoralymartinez!! Holy cow, this book blew me away! . These two main characters, Charlotte and Porter, are so likeable and impossible to resist. Charlotte is a very successful doctor struggling with a horrific past. Porter is a restaurant owner and also has a past filled with loss and heartache. These two thirty-somethings seem almost impossible together, yet highly probable at the same time. I loved watching these two interact throughout this story. Their interactions were so much fun, their banter enjoyable, and their silliness was infectious. . The heartache! The drama! The outright reader-torturing going on here! I adored every aspect of this story from start to finish. It was impossible to put down, and ended with one of the best duology endings I've ever read! This book was perfect. JUST PERFECT! . This is my very first Aly Martinez book, and maaaaannnnnn was it a great one!! I highly suggest going into this book without reading the synopsis or too many reviews. Just go in 100% BLIND! That's that I did, and boy did it pay off. I saw a few people saying how good it was, and that small nudge was all I needed to immediately jump in. I hope this review will give you guys a little push too. I promise you, you'll be happy that you took the chance on this one. It's jaw-dropping. It's heartfelt. It's outright AMAZING!
