Christine sits at a large table covered in food and treats. at the center a large Birthday Cake with the words 'Joyeux Anniversaire!' written in pink frosting. her friends sit on both sides of her and along the table "Scott! darling, come sit!" she fixes the birthday tiara on her head

Scott looks around. "Who got all this stuff?" He asked as he sat down and slid a present over to her. "Happy birthday."

The Alpha Pack has never stayed in one place too long. They've been around for too long, moving across the world on foot, via bus or train. They find Kali as a struggling Omega in Dubai who takes out four them before he can be convinced to join them as a new Alpha. Ethan and Aidan were picked up somewhere in Europe. Felix was picked up somewhere in eastern Africa.

It's in Paris that they nearly make their own addition, sometime in the later years of a century that passes by like the rest. There is a girl, and her teacher, and the call of the moon. 

Aiden takes a particular intrest in her, likes the way her throat is bared when she sings her pretty little songs. He wants her, but he can't have her. He lures her, takes away the memories that warn her away from him, but it's too no avail. Her teacher kills three of them, red eyes bared, mask gleaming in the moonlight. 

They leave Paris with half the numbers and decide to just let that one go.
