REALLY GOOD FOOD!
We usually cook in Pittsburg because there’s a grill on the deck of our cabin at #Lopstick. We save our meat-eating for our hiking trip to Pittsburg because Young’s general market carries amazing meat.
But, we do love to dine out, too. And there’s a new place in Pittsburg called the burg, in *downtown Pittsburg. Many ingredients are locally sourced but the real message is that the food at the burg is simply delicious.
We had pizza, brussels sprouts and local IPAs. The place was crowded -- for good reason. The proprietors have put a lot of work and thought into the restaurant, and they pay attention to customer service. Let’s hope the locals and visitors can keep it going.
Blueberry pizza -- yummy.
* Downtown Pittsburg is tiny but you can’t miss it. There’s a post office, police station, fire station, Murphy Dam, historical society, town green and now, the burg.
