Miracles do happen || Family AU || Poison and Steve
Poison has left her vilainous days behind her almost two years ago. After she met Steve, it was the only way that they could be together and she didn't mind. The only thing she didn't like was how people were watching her, like she's still the same and she hadn't changed. But her golden boy always made her feel better, feel loved.
All her life, she thought she can't get pregnant, she even told this to him. But then one day, she felt sick, like she was ill. But the thing is, she was resistant to most diseases. The thought crossed her mind, but the chances were so slim, she didn't realise she was pregnant for a long while. She told him that they're gonna have a Captain America junior.
Now, she was lying in the hospital bed with her son in her arms. He was so beautiful. He had ocean blue eyes like his father, but they were big as hers. Rosy cheeks and doll like lips. He didn't cry much, but he was moving awfully a lot for a new born. But he was sleeping then and he looked so peaceful.
Doctors didn't allow Steve to come in after the baby was taken to be observed. Poison was so worried. They weren't sure if their child is going to be alright, if he's going to be alive. With all that was going on in the snake's body, it would have to be a miracle that the baby wouldn't suffer any of the consequences. But that day was when a baby boy had proven that miracles do happen.
Poison's eyes shifted up from her son after she heard the door open softly and quietly. She smiled seeing the only man she ever loved enter the door. "Come and meet your son." she pushed the blanket that was around the baby away a little bit, to show him to Steve, then looked back up at him. She most likely looked tired, the labour took two days and she was exhausted. I have a son. I have a son.
