Can I help you?
The Doctor had only just 'popped off' for a bit after landing... somewhere... and Dustfinger was getting impatient and tired of waiting for him to return. He wasn't even sure what the man was up to, but he knew how pointless it was to ask if the Doctor wasn't in a sharing state. Just as he rose from the bench to just get outside--the door opened anyways. However, it wasn't the gangly man with flapping hands that he had expected to see standing before him.
It was a stranger.
"You're not supposed to be here." He stammered, caught off guard.
The captain, the Demon, and the bounty hunter (Jack and Bobby)
*Bobby cursed, the Demon had jumped hosts leaving the battered, bloody student in the street. He ran off, not stopping to check on the boy, trying to catch up with the black sulfur cloud that raced ahead looking for a form. It didn't take long for it to spot a new one and bolt. The black cloud forced its way down the young man's throat and the man took off, trying to outpace the hunter behind him. Bobby only caught up because the new host crashed straight into a man wearing a long coat. Bobby skidded to a stop, knife held ready. If the thing jumped he'd have to go after it, but for the moment it was content to say in the suit it was wearing, playing the 'innocent victim' card.*
This crazy man just started chasin' me. Both of them saw the knife, still red with the blood of the other Demon's host. The one who hadn't managed to jump before bobby stuck him, the demon that had burned to brimstone and ash. The host had died too, but to be honest, there hadn't been much left of the other host.*
Bobby didn't try to retreat, didn't sheath the knife, he waited to see what the stranger in the long coat would do.*
Pawns, Alliance, Stranger.
Put a word in my ask and I will write a Headcanon about it for my Muse.
Pawns
Louise wants to believe that her sister wasn't just a pawn, a warm body on the battlefield that her superiors ordered around. But deep down, she knows that in at least some way, that's all Marie was to the people pulling the strings behind the war. She hates that, and is one of the main reasons she almost hates the army.
Alliance
Louise is, honestly, a bit of a loner, even if she doesn't look it at first glance. She spends long periods of time out of contact with society. As a result, any sort of alliance is usually few and far between. That said, she is more than willing to work with other people to stop or at least mediate bad things from happening. In fact, working along side another person often gives her a courage boost. It gives her a reason to act, and to stay and see it through, more than just her own sense of right and wrong, for one simple reason. She's not one to abandon someone who needs her help, even when there might not be anything she can do.
Stranger
When meeting a stranger, Louise is often friendly, kind, and makes an attempt at being helpful. However, that shouldn’t be mistaken for trust. She becomes wary at the first sign of a threat, and she often is cautious almost to the point of paranoia if things seem off to her. That said, she will usually give an opportunity for explanations to be made, but not always.
Resurrection || Jack and Balth
It's not every day, he supposes, that one comes back from the dead. Though more and more it seems to be happening, of late, between Cassy... and the Winchester apes, again and again. Seems to him, that there's a new resurrection with every breath, and he's just a long line of too many after all.
Perhaps he should tell someone that he's alive again, only an ugly scar wrapping around his chest to remind him that he was ever truly gone. It's his grace that was stabbed, and broken grace can't heal broken grace. They likely need him, the side of good, he snorts to himself, what with the war raging and the angels falling, and everything he'd tried so hard to avoid until...until it had gotten clouded in his head. Until he'd tried to fight for something and was, in the end, left with nothing at all.
He downs the whiskey in his glass, motioning for another, and as he turns his head, a man slides into his line of sight, white teeth gleaming in the dim bar light, broad shoulders hidden under the tight fabric that stretches across them. It's not the physicality, much as it exudes sexuality and promise, that catches his attention though, but something else altogether. Something...different. Not human...but not-not human...not anything he's ever sensed before.
His back tightens as he weighs whether or not what he feels means threat. He's vulnerable, and all but powerless, though his grace is in there somewhere, a perfect target if a demon should desire to strike or Raphael or Metaron, or whomever it is out for their blood today. He has no way of knowing what occurred while he wasn't around, no information on who or what might be looking for him. It could be this man, who feels unnatural. He scarcely notices he's staring as the thoughts whirl through his mind.
One instant the interface was asleep and the next it was out of the box. Rose stood, inspecting her clothing and seeming generally puzzled by the choice she had made for herself. Rose Tyler wasn't the dominant memory in Jack's head. However, she made the decision then that the right to change was reserved. After all, Rose was only an echo of a memory floating unattached in place he couldn't really get to on his own. After accepting the fact she was spending another undetermined amount of time as Rose or Bad Wolf, she looked up. “Oh, look at you. Do you remember her? Would you rather him? What's his name...” It was in there somewhere. She saw him, brightly lit in the man's mind. The answer was – “Ianto? Funny name. But I suppose I shouldn't judge.”
