REBLOG if you WANT a deal, LIKE if you HAVE one.
Borei, the demon once known as Bobby Singer is looking to make some deals.
Bobby Singer, known as the Devil’s Bounty hunter is looking for some souls to collect.
So here is what you do. If you Reblog this I will send you an ask starter…
If you HAVE a deal, and you know who you are, like this and contact me, we need to talk about how Bobby will (or why he won’t) take you.
Have some fun with it. YES, it is ok to try and double cross them. Please do. Yes, it is ok to try to hurt/capture/kill them. IF you actually make a deal expect and AU MA about it.
@soullessbobbysinger “You let me think you were dead” (post seven Bobby is back if you don’t mind multiple threads)
"I know, Bobby, and...I'm sorry. You have every reason to yell at me. Hell, I won't be made if you threw a few punches," Dean shook his head with a frown and let his hands fall to his side, his hands slapping his denim jeans.
"I can't really explain why I had to do what I did, but you just have to trust that I did it for good reason, alright? I need you to do that for me."
Bobby was torn, he wanted to punch the kid but all he could do was pull him into a hug. After all, who was he to yell? He had his own secrets to mind.
I’m angry. I just got my pet deposit and my deposit back and without my cats being there there are some how “fresh” urine deposits that cost us the money we need to live. So, I know no one listens but please, I’d like it if you signal boost this. This is Bobby’s mun.

Sunday update 2: managers called their guys, guys brought in blowers. Tomorrow we will have speaks with them about the damage. Toilet upstairs leaked. I guess the flapper didn’t go all the way down and it ran all night and flooded both houses.
We are safe, it’s getting dealt with and so far nothing beyond inconvenience but this on top of it all makes me want to cry.

Update mon evening. Have to tear out part of front bath and ceiling above the kitchen. So far it looks like just the corner. But still out of the frying pan into the flood. Help if you can, signal boost if you will.
John needed a fag and a steak in that order. He was tired of this one-horse town, but the scry map had brought him here and all he had left was menthols he lifted from the cop on the turnpike.
He hated menthol, nothing worse than cough drop flavored cigarettes. He leaned against the wall, eyes scanning the crowd, not sure what had set off his infernal trouble sense but something wasn’t right.
Luci sat down next to John, "Do you think...if I leant her some of my strength, she might be able to spar her own energy and...be with you?"
“No. The binding makes us inseparable. Her body died a long time ago. I’m a lot older than I look.”
Luci gave a nod, looking across the dilapidated building. He sat in silence for a while.
“Anyway, the binding is simple enough. It’s a spell I cast an then then we lock it with the sigil. My friend Robert makes holy water markers for spells.”
"Just tell me what you need me to do and I can help," Luci offered out his help.
Connie paced the room marking out sigils. Dug in his bag for a bowl and some herbs. He knelt in front of the bowl and facing East he mixed the ingredients of the bowl and threw a match. A fragrant smoke began drifting out of the bowl.
Once he had lit it he addressed the room with a mixture of Latin, infernal, and enochian. As he spoke the ghost became more visible. A young woman in twenties clothes, a bright smile and golden hair cascading down her shoulders.
“Pass the ash through the smoke seven times.” He said, passing a small ash wood chunk through the smoke.
Rolling up his sleeve he handed Lucifer a paper with a sigil on it. “If I can’t finish, you have to. Once I start I only have about an hour before it cools and we have to start again.”
He passed the marker through the smoke seven times. “Blessed instrument of writing, also passed seven times.”
The ash stick went in his mouth, and the tip of the pen went against his left arm as he started drawing the sigil. The first stroke hurt in a way that made him forget how to breathe.
The ink looked like veins of fire, and he could feel it searing into his very soul. And with tears in his eyes, through his screams, he continued to draw until his hand stopped. He couldn’t continue the pain was too much, tendrils of the ghost around him, brimstone glittering on his skin.
“Please, help.”
Lucifer took over, repeating what John had done. He took Constance's arm, drawing the sigil as he repeated the words of the spell.
He wished he could take the pain away. Could let the couple be together in happiness. But it was not his power or within his ability to do so.
So he did what he could to seal the beast within Constance. He said the spell, did the ritual, drew the sigil.
With the last stroke of the pen, astra faded into him again and his blue eyes were back, though they bore brimstone flecks. He dumped the pen in the bowl and upended it to quench the fire, collapsing into a sobbing heap on the floor.
Luci sat down, letting out a long breath. He felt...drained...somehow. Tired and worn out. But he pushed it aside, watching John.
Finally the sobbing faded and he got himself up. He moved a little stiffly but otherwise seemed unharmed.
“Thank you.” He hated being this raw in front of anyone.
“Now, let’s get a few hours an then find this blighter ‘fore he causes more trouble.”
Drawing his attention back to the infernal that had started this. “I had some time to think while I was in time out. An I think I know why he’s in this town.”
But I’ll tell you after a few hours.”
He stumbled off to a couch where he could sleep and for the next five hours slept so soundly he might have looked dead.
Luci had been quite aware enough not to mention it. Humans usually hated it.
He gave a nod, "I'll keep watch," he did go out to the car to fetch some things, returning with some spare blankets from the trunk. He laid one over John and then used others to make himself comfortable.
To see him awake was so different he was an affable man if he liked you.
“We gotta steal an artifact from the local museum. I ‘member seein a consecrated jar in one of the new exhibits. An I would wager it’s his. Lotsa lore got screwed up. Demons sometimes were kept in bottles, handed down through the centuries, an we gotta fin’ which blighter it is cause it’s easier if you have the name.”

If you decide to stop watching spn after S5 you really HAVE to watch The French Mistake (s6e15) completely out of context. Trust me. It's one of the best of the series but probably not for the reason you think. It's absolutely unhinged and watching it out of context makes it so much worse (in a good way)
will consider that,thanks
I get that, I would say season seven tbh but after that they kinda jumped the shark.

All right, a little more info. Two weeks ago my uninsured neighbor accidentally started a fire. That fire totaled our neighbors apartment and the water totaled our front half of our home.
For the last two weeks our pets have been boarded. And yet there are fresh stains on our carpet.
I GOT A FUCKING RAISE THE POTATO WORKED WTF
This potato works. Every. Fucking. Time.
Reblogging because it’s a damn potato and I want to encourage people to assume potatoes are magical.

one more night (Open) third clean repost
Bobby never intended to die. He hated it. But there were some times it couldn’t be avoided. and this was going to be one of them. The thing that made it so much harder was that he was going to have to reveal himself to someone. With his injuries the way they were, there was no way he could do it.
He’d managed to bind his arm and put it in a sling. But it was his right hand And he was pretty sure the arm was broken. He’d managed to get the werewolf, but not before it got its teeth into him.
As he turned away from the fire, he set up a last resort. He’d done it once before, but didn’t want to have to. Pure colloidal Silver to the heart should stop it but it hurt like a bitch and he’d need a place to lie low for a couple days. But it was better than the alternative.
He knew there were some, a few, who could rein in that monster, but he didn’t trust himself to do that. With the syringe in a pocket he could reach with his left hand, and his silver knife in his belt, he set off, duty bag balanced carefully on his shoulder. He’d have to find a place and he’d have to find it soon. He couldn’t afford to walk much longer or he’d lose any time he had left. He was praying for a cabin, with the weather unseasonably cold, himself dying by inches and his car dead in town, he was out of options. The wolves had gotten him and dragged him out here. But he didn’t dare head for town.
Finally he could see a light through the trees. He almost prayed it was a hunter, if not– well, things would get weird.
“Howdy?” he said to the figure that hid behind the shadowed doorway. “Got run off the road down there, think I busted up my arm pretty good, any chance I could sleep here for the night?”
It had been Maze’s idea, in the beginning. Get out of the city for a little bit. Clear the head, that sort of thing. She hated seeing him mope about, slumped over his piano, desperately trying to get drunk or high. Damned his Celestial tolerance.
So, cabin in the woods. No technology save a cell phone, for emergencies. Maze had made him promise. And he couldn’t break his promises. A deal, actually. More binding, making it a deal. A month in the woods to get over it all.
He was doing so well, too. He could almost see himself making a living of this whole ‘outdoors’ thing. Sure, he missed his creature comforts. But it was easier to get her off his mind when there weren’t things to remind him.
He was just getting comfortable for the night, a glass of Scotch on the little table next to his comfy chair, when he heard the knock upon the door. He frowned. Now, who would be out here at this time of night? So, he stood and answered the door. A human stood outside, ragged, an arm bound up.
“Of course,” he stood aside and gestured, “How could I turn aside someone clearly in need?”
Bobby shuffled in and looked around. “Got a place I could clean up?” His face fell a little seeing a civilian, no wards or salt meant probably colloidal silver.
His bag was perfectly balanced on his shoulder, and he knew it was only a matter of time before he started losing lucidity. He wanted a hot shower and a last meal if he had to do it.
A hunter would know what the veining on his arm meant.
“There is a washroom down the hall there, the door on the right,” he gave a small frown as he took in the man’s appearance in better light. He looked…rough, “Along with a first-aid kit under the sink.”
As the stranger turned, he noted the prominent and darkened veins running up his arm, “Though I doubt the kit will do much for that. You said you got run off the road?” He raised an eyebrow, before his gaze flicked to the calendar on the wall, “Hmm…”
Bobby paused. “Robert Singer, friends call me Bobby. With a comment like that I take it you ain’t vegan (non hunter).” He carefully put down the bag balanced on his shoulder. “Well, that part is true, I was run off the road, but it was what happened after what got me in trouble.”
“One could say I’ve seen a thing or two,” he glanced at the bag before he moved into the kitchenette. He pulled down another glass, pouring a generous amount of whiskey into it, setting the glass down before Bobby, “I am Lucifer Morningstar, a pleasure to meet your acquaintance.”
He frowned. If it was the real luci they might have some issues since luci had made him what he was. “Got bit by a werewolf.” I figure I got about three hours fore I’m howlin at the moon.” He took the proffered drink. “Hunter’s watch sucks.”
“Werewolf, eh? Well, good thing I’m not human,” he tipped back his Scotch, slamming the glass down with a satisfied sound, “Alright then.”
He moved about the cabin, fetching items from various places, “You should go and wash up while you have the chance. i get the feeling this will be a long night,” he began to roll up his sleeves.
“Yeah.” Bobby went and cleaned himself up checking on the bite, still inflamed.
He was tempted to use the silver but he figured he’d see what luci had in store for him first Since it wasn’t like Bobby couldn’t come back.
“This should help with that,” Luci tossed a small tube, almost the size of a tube of chapstick, “Roll on applicator. Quite the amazing advancement in technology. Humans, your lot are quite fascinating,”
He had set up a tea kettle in the fireplace hearth, as well as a small notebook. He was currently studying the thing, flicking the pages with a concentrated look.
Bobby looked at the applicator for a moment he was hesitant, but there wasn’t much for it, try luci’s miracle cure or colloidal silver.
“Okay…got that…and that…damn…might have some of that…” he was muttering under his breath, flicking through the pages, back and forth, before he slammed the tiny book shut, “Alright. Water is boiling. Stay put. Will be back in a tick,” he swept out the front door to the cabin.
True to his word, he was back within minutes, a plastic bag in hand, muttering again under his breath something along the lines of, “At least the blasted things are good for emergencies,” he set the bag down, pulling items out left and right.
Bobby slid into a seat. He took stock of what was going on and tried to decide if it was going to be a summon or a conjure.
Lucifer’s movements were precise, items moving with accuracy into a small mortar. He ground things up, dumping other things into another container. He hummed to himself as he worked. He grabbed a small mesh ball, pressing the freshly ground and combined ingredients inside. He sealed it, then set the thing, it had a small chain, into a mug. He grabbed the kettle and poured the hot water into the mug.
“Alrighty then, let it steep for a bit. A good ole’ wolfsbane tea. Will help make the fuzzy little bastard a bit more manageable,” he grinned, sliding the mug a bit towards Bobby
“I ain’t changing’ won’t let it go that far.” Bobby said. He did take a couple sips. Not as horrible as he thought but pretty bad. “Without my necessary, I tend to be pretty bad when I change. An I may not hurt you, but I can hurt others.
“We are quite far from the nearest town. You won’t be leaving this cabin until the sun rises, anyway,” he sat down with a fresh glass of alcohol, “There are leftovers in the fridge, if you are feeling peecish. Help yourself.’
He got himself some food. “But you ain’t understanding. I ain’t staying here forever, and if you let me loose even with the sun up, come next moonrise and I’ll kill. I can’t have that kinda collateral.”
“Werewolves need human hearts, yes? But could any heart do? Maybe substitutions…?” Luci tapped his fingers on the glass in thought, “No, keeping you here would be wrong. Anyway, i’m due to return to Lux in a few weeks and if I miss that deadline, Maze would begin sniffing around trying to find out what happened to me.”
He went quiet for a time, eyes watching the flames, the jeweled ring on his finger flashing in the light as he tapped the now emptied glass,
“They can survive that way, but it it’s not a good life from what I understand. They have to choke it down. An’ fore you ask it’s gotta be live. Pre-dead don’t work. Ain’t just hearts, hearts are just especial favorite. In all my years I’ve only known one hunter not go off Rez when bit, an he was a peacenik to start with. But he’s still got a watchdog. His own promised to put him down he goes for human.”
He pulled the syringe out of his pocket. “Last resort.” He said. Ain’t fun, but it works.” He sighed. “Would T be here if the bitch hadn’t broken my arm.”
“There has to be a way,” he tapped the glass and then stood up, rolling his shoulders a little, “Right. Fundamentals…There is always a choice. An alternate path. You can choose the beast or seek a way to return to being just a man.”
“I don’t stay dead.” Bobby didn’t mean to just drop that like a stone. “But the return ain’t fun though you may find it instructive.”
“Impossible. All humans die and stay dead,” he stared at Bobby in confusion, “Well, other than Cain, but that was a one off sort of deal…and he is dead now. Wanker,” he grumbled.
“I died eight years ago, five years ago I came back. And I can’t stay dead. As long as I’m alive a register as human till the bounty hunter shows up but infernal and were? Ain’t a good mix.” He pointed to the scar over his heart, died fifteen days after I came back. This is my third bite. If I go down human I come back mostly ok.”
If I die were like I did last time, after killing nine, it took most of a day for me to return an I weren’t in a good way.”
He looked troubled, “A bounty hunter? Infernal?” he rubbed his head, “What in the world has this world come to?”
Luci quickly poured himself another drink, “If you are looking for someone to kill you…I can’t. Angels aren’t allowed to kill humans. Rule number one.”
“Firs’ one to follow that rule.” Bobby groused. “I can deal with it myself. But it ain’t easy an’ I wouldn’t mind some company.” He nodded to the thing on the table. “Help me set my arm an’ I’ll be in a little better way. An technically, you wait till I turn an you ain’t killing a human.” Bobby shrugged one shouldered and untied his broken right arm. “More chance it don’t heal right if I go down with a broken wing.”
Silver hurt like hell, and he was going to wait a little longer. If he could he’d sleep through it but it didn’t work that way.
“It was one of the few that I actually cared to keep,” he frowned, then tipped back another drink.
“Alright,” he grabbed the supplies but paused at ‘broken wing.’
“I’m an idiot…” he set the things back down, “I recall Mazikeen doing this for Amenadiel…maybe it would work for a human,” he gave his shoulders a small roll again
“There we are,” he twisted a wing over, plucking one of the brilliant white feathers, “This should do the trick. A bit of Celestial magic.”
Bobby laughed bitterly, stuck between awe and abject horror he sat there hand outstretched not quite touching the feather. The creature he was bound to writhed. And the celestial power hurt as much as it healed
He rubbed the feather between his hands until a brilliant glow formed, “Alright, then, this might sting a bit,” he gave a wry smile, “I’ve never actually done this before, so I don’t know if it’ll actually work…”
“You ready?” he asked, hands held out, not quite touching. He was waiting for permission.
Bobby nodded. He didn’t have words not only because it wasn’t often you saw an angel’s wings, fallen or not, but the closeness of the celestial power hurt and it made the absence of his soul throb even more as the bounty hunter tried to avoid contact with it.
He took Bobby’s arm as gently as he could, his hands glowing brightly. Luci concentrated as hard as he could, forcing the magic to heal the arm into what it was supposed to be. The bones joined, the muscles attached correctly. Nerve endings and flesh.
The bounty hunter shrank back. It healed but there was pain as the celestial magic collided with his infernal nature. And of course human pain. He screamed as the bone came back into the correct shape.
“It looks like it worked,” he panted, looking just a bit ashen. Lucifer helped ease Bobby into a seat, “Sorry about the pain. Though…it does look like more than the arm was healed. But it could just be the angle and lighting to me. What do you think?”
He tilted his head, grabbing a fresh drink for himself and Bobby.
Bobby caught his breath and nearly collapsed. “‘Mind me not to do that again.” He muttered. His arm was healed, it didn’t seem that he was turning, but it felt to him like something was very wrong.
“Quite agreed,” he frowned just a bit, “How does it feel?” Luci asked, gesturing to Bobby’s arm. If at least one thing went well.
He began to clear up the mess, wiping the ashy remains of the feather from his hands.
He extended and flexed the arm noting that the veining was gone. “Dunno if it fixed me or jus’ delayed it, but I kinda feel it ain’t somethin to do again soon.”
“Even if it is merely delaying the lycanthropy, then that at least gives you some time,” Luci looked over, washing things up now, “At least you can get a good night’s rest. I’ll take the pull-out if you want the bed. Doesn’t matter much to me.”
“Nonsense, been sleepin on couches for thirty years.” He wasn’t sure if the Lycanthropy was gone but he knew he didn’t feel good. He also didn’t want to tell his host that he didn’t sleep.
“I’ll just get some things for the pull-out then. I should have some spare pillows,” he dried off his hands, heading down into the hall. Luci rummaged in one of the hallway closets before carrying out a stack of blankets and a few pillows.
Bobby made like he was going to sleep but he’d probably just fill in his journal and do some study. Cause this weren’t the luci he knew. And the more he knew about his own condition the less he liked it. He didn’t bother with the sigil since he didn’t feel the bounty hunter, and that was what worried him.
Luci nodded, turning off the main lights before padding to his room. Up the stairs he went, the floor not even creaking. There were the soft rustlings of someone getting into bed, then long silence.
Bobby sat up late into the night. He didn’t often sleep and when he did, he was stuck in the same nightmare, the one he was trying so hard to stop. Five am and he was up making coffee like always, writing observations on his state. He had good news, and bad news.
He had concluded his tests and written his observations, turning to lore by the time his host was up. “There is coffee if you drink it.”
“What a heavenly smell it is,” he sniffed the air as he poured out a helping. Luci gingerly tasted it, finding it wasn’t foul, like the stuff he used to find at the precinct.
“What’s all this?” he gestured to the spread upon the table, looking quizzically over it all.
“Ain’t been able to sleep pas’ five in decades. So I was doing some lore readin’. Silver tested myself this morning, kinda par for the course after a bite, was spectin black, maybe red, but it came back normal. So I ain’t gonna turn, but I got some bad news with that good. My healin’ is already slowin’ an’ my skin’s getting ashen an cold. So we stopped one issue an started another. My infernal went to sulk an left me by my lonesome.”
“A side effect of Celestial healing, I assume?” he tapped his coffee mug in thought, “Would something infernal work in drawing it back?”
He looked rather…wary…when asking that question.
“I dunno, he’s a bit tetchy he don’t like angel power much. I ain’t never gotten him back any sooner than he wants to be back. But that leaves me with a worse problem. Without him I’m an animated corpse an’ you know what happens to them when they run out of power? They go revenant. What’s dead should stay dead.”
“I quite remember that being the reason I forbid demons coming up to earth and inhabiting humans,” Luci gulped more coffee, “Why do I have this feeling I stepped into a place that is not my own?”
“There are alternate Earths…alternate paths that people take that branch out…creating a new earth to live out that decision. Somehow…I wound up on yours,” he looked thoughtful, “Explains why Maze hasn’t checked in this week…”
“Yeah,” Bobby nodded “figured, since our luci is in the pit an weren’t at all nice. He tried to take over the world so we stuck him in timeout with Michael.” He sighed, “Anyway, I got bout a week fore it gets bad, at the rate I’m cooling.”
“Stuck with Michael?” He shuddered at the thought, “My twin can be quite the pain in the ass…”
Luci tapped the mug once more, “There might be a way…to halt that. For a time, at least. And it doesn’t involve Celestial magics at all. More of…a remnant of the Lillum.”
“I dunno about that.” Bobby said. “I’m just afraid that anything we do will make him stay away which gets me in some hot water. Las time he left me hi an dry I had a face-to-face with the powers what be. An they were not easy on us.”
“Well, I can’t really go and fetch your soul. Last few times I tried that…it didn’t end well,” he frowned, “And that was on my own Earth were I was still King of Hell.”
Bobby laughed. “My soul is bound you wouldn’t be able to bring it back to me. The bounty hunter has it. The thing is I know how to summon him but I don’t know if he can’t or won’t.
“Bounty hunter? Things are quite a lot different here…” he sat down on the chair, his dark hair sticking up everywhere. He hadn’t yet groomed himself for the day
“Yeah, what I been told he’s a soul stealer, works for hell bringing back souls that outlived their contract. People make deals and then try and Welch. He fetches them back.
In the shadow of the chair, Lucifer’s eyes glowed a deep red. He had grown quite still, “I could never understand the fascination with souls,” his voice had lost its playful tone, had grown deeper.
Hey, luci, this ain’t your world, this one works different.” He sighed. “Anyway, bout the time Lilith was deposed they put the bounty hunter in time out cause he helped bring her down, was afraid she’d destroy the world. So they stuck him in his box an sealed the door. The last bounty hunter burned out several centuries ago. Then my Boys pop the door and dump luci and Michael and well, the bounty hunter gets loose an someone uses some very black magic to raise me as a bound spirit.”
“Doesn’t mean I have to stand here and like it,” he snapped, the mug crushing beneath his grip, “I am still an Archangel. I am Lucifer bloody Morningstar,” his eyes still glowed red.
“Lucifer here, is still in the pit, an he ain’t coming back. Bounty hunter is an office of hell so ain’t notin but getting rid of hell what can stop it. An you do that, I’m gone.” He snorted. “You ain’t gotta like it but you ain’t the one livin with the consequences when you go back. I am bound to the lives of the only two people I give a damn about. My boys. Do you grump an rage all you want but if anything you do hurts my boys I’ll gladly put you in the pit with our luci.”
“Understood,” he sat back, closing his eyes for a bit, “I understand where you are coming from as well. There…are people back home that I would do anything for. Anything to keep them safe.”
“An’ I don’ have a soul right now so I wouldn’t care how many others got hurt. I try an pretend to be me, but it ain’t easy, an this? Goin revenant? This sucks worse. We hunters call them biters. They bite a human, the human becomes a revenant too just like in the movies.
Romero had a hunter on staff. ‘S how he got it right, well mostly he changed some stuff so people didn’t get hurt.”
“Is there anything I can do to revenant-proof this cabin? As a last resort, if your pal doesn’t come back in time? I would rather hate for the people of the town to get hurt.”
Revenants don’t feel pain. So locking the door barricade the window will only last till they get desperate enough to claw or break. I’ve never been revenant very long, I dunno what happens if I stay in that state.
They don’t breathe and the only thing they eat is human. If they don’t kill you right off you become one. You ain’t human so prolly won’t trigger the bite reflex. But they can’t talk, all they know is heat is good because heat means food. Warm blooded creatures can carry it.
You’ll know when it gets close because I start losing the ability to think and speak clearly.
“Well, I won’t have to worry about the biting thing,” he picked up a shard of the mug and demonstrated by digging it into the skin of his arm, “See?” there was no mark or blemish.
“For the other things…I shall keep a close eye out. I will also try to…tone down the Celestial parts…maybe your other half will come back soon.”
“I hope but he likes to throw tantrums like this to remind me that without him I’m jus’ a corpse.”
An then he’ll go out an take some souls as soon as I’m whole. Prolly still to weak to chain him.
Lucifer let out a long sigh, “Well, I shall do what I can for you, in whatever capacity that I can.”
It was obvious over the next few days that Bobby was right. His skin turned cold and pale, his blood stopped pumping, and eventually his eyes went dim. “Luci, I’m scared. I—“ he had to chase the word around his brain. “Want—…”
His eyes were milky like a corpse and any humanity in them was gone. His gait was shambling and he banged into the wall trying to get loose.
“No, no, not that way,” he gently herded Bobby away from the walls. He warmed up some pork, not cooking it fully, but warming enough to give off heat. Luci had heard that human tasted like pork…maybe he could trick zombie-Bobby enough.
Biters are like toddlers. Anything even vaguely food went into his mouth. He ate the meat but didn’t seem to like it and hand-to-mouth was it’s thing. It tried to bite the angel once or twice, just gnawing unsuccessfully.
By the second day it was scratching at the walls trying to get out. By three it was bodily throwing itself at them.
Heedless of the ripped skin and broken bones that were not healing. If it got a cut the black blood oozed and still it kept trying to get to freedom. To the food it could smell.
Luci didn’t sleep. He didn’t let his eyes leave Bobby. Eventually, though, he would need sleep. He had, before, gone several days without sleep…and it hadn’t gone well. Even now he could feel the effects of sleep deprivation.
Bobby was silent. He couldn’t do more than grunt hiss or growl.
The gun was still on the table where Bobby had left it. Under it was a slip of paper that just said “in case of emergency”
He looked at it. Luci hadn’t wanted to use it…but seeing his new friend like this…
Luci picked it up, checked to see that it was, indeed, loaded. A single bullet. He raised the gun, “I’m sorry, Bobby.”
Bobby blinked at him. There was no recognition of danger in his eyes. It was almost trusting.
He aimed and fired. He winced at the noise…and the thud. Luci set the gun down gingerly, stepping around to Bobby’s body.
Bobby never knew how long he was down but resurrection started the way it always did, with the air seeming to force its way down his throat making him cough. He was trying to bring up the sulphur collected there. But a couple minutes later, he blinked.
Luci had passed out on the chair, sleeping like one who had tried to stay awake but lost the fight with the Lord of Dreams. In his lap, next to a limp hand, was Bobby’s hat
Bobby got up and showered. Then he went and made coffee then he rummaged in the fridge to find something to cook.
He figured food and coffee would wake his host.
It was definitely the smell of coffee and food that roused him. Luci sat up straight, rubbing his eyes.
“Boiled caffeine on the stove an’ bacon and eggs in the pan.”
Coming back always made him hungry. He rubbed his forehead. “Guess you found my note.”
“Yes, I found it…” he looked aside at the note and gun, then poured himself some coffee and helped himself to some breakfast, “I tried to give your other half time to come back…but you were degenerating too fast.”
Never seen what happens after. No one has ever let me go that far. Sorry it came to that. But the good news is, my freeloader is back. I won’t be surprised if we have some… errands to run later.”
“I don’t know…if I will find my way back to my own universe. So I might be stuck here for a while…” he got some food in him, thinking, “I don’t think I’ll stick to this cabin. Might explore the rest that this universe has to offer. It seems…interesting.”
“I don’t know if it works for an angel, even a fallen one, but I have a spell that might be able to get you back. Otherwise I’d look up Constance. He’s a bit rough but he deals with time and dimension more than us.”
He nodded, then held out his hand, “It was an absolute pleasure meeting you, Bobby Singer.”
He shook hands. “If we meet again I hope it’s under better circumstances. An I hope you get home.
“I hope so too. But if I do find my way home…” he stopped there, finishing shoveling the food down, “You are welcome to continue using this cabin, if you want. I have a feeling you might have need of it from time to time.”
“It would make a good hunting cabin for sure thank you for that. Might have to ward it some so I don’t bring the nightmare of the week home.”
Luci smiled, heading up the stairs to his room to gather his things.
“If you ever have need of me, and if I’m still in this universe, I do answer prayers.”
“I’ll remember that. You ain’t gotta go on my account. Anyway whoever you found, hang on to them, they done ya good.”
He tilted his head, “What do you mean by that?” he asked, confused.
“You kept mentioning someone, sounds like you two are together. Anyway, musta been a good influence on you.”
“Oh…yes…the Detective. She…” he went quiet, “I think I…scared her off. She was always so…sensible,” he sat down heavily in the chair once more, “I always told her the truth about who and what I am. She never believed it…until she saw…”
“Don’t wait too long to find her. She’ll run for a bit but once she got her head round it. She’ll come back if she’s right for you.”
“She’ll come back around. Dad made her, just for me. Trying to play match-maker or something. I just…want it to be her choice.”
“If it’s real it will be.” The luci I knew was bad. Evil in the very sense of the word. And would destroy just because they were loved.”
one more night (Open) third clean repost

She’ll come back if she’s right for you.”
one more night (Open) third clean repost
“Want—…”
