Death let her lips curl into a grin. A vampire was close by. Lots of death surrounded him, both others'... and his own. How interesting; few existed like that anymore.
She pulled herself from the throng of people marching the streets, leaning against the wall and waiting for the being to pass her. Perhaps he would even notice her; a lifeless, pale being might attract his attention as something else...
