I don't think it would immobilize it, but depending on how tight the binding is it could cause numbness or difficulty in moving it. Depends on the way it is bandaged, I think.

It’s okay! I entirely agree with you that it’s ridiculous! He’s already taken a big liberty with the show by putting Clara in all of the regenerations, but he makes it seem like he’s trying to change core things such as the Doctors physiology.

I can look past many things Moffat does with the show because of my love for Doctor Who, but lately I'm having a hard time doing that.
