1. Have you ever made a Pinterest craft?

I haven’t, no! But I should look into that, because I do like making crafts and stuff, especially scrapbooking and collaging.2. Have you ever littered?

Yeah :/ When I was a tween/young teen, I thought it was cool to litter (where did that idea even come from? I guess I just saw cool older kids throwing trash on the ground?), but now I think it’s disgusting. Nowadays I’ll carry empty wrappers and cans around in my bag all day until I can throw them out/recycle them. I do usually throw my cigarette butts on the ground though… :/ but I really only do that on sidewalks, campus, etc. where I know someone is going to sweep. If there’s a ‘smoker’s pole’ or an ashtray in sight, of course I’ll use those, and I would never litter in a nature-y area. In fact, I’ll often pick up litter I see on the beach or in the woods because it pisses me off so much.

3. Have you ever…. hm….. met a band member from a band you loved and been put off by their attitude?

I honestly can’t really say I have! I’ve met a lot of musicians whom I love, and most of them have been gracious. If I had to pick someone, though… this is gonna be hilarious because I stan him and later on had a great experience meeting him, but the first time I met Alice in Chains, Jerry was kind of… not nice. lmao. I went to a meet and greet in 2010 with my sister, dad and cousin. Mike and William were super nice, Sean was chill, but I said hi to Jerry and he signed my poster but didn’t even look up. My dad even thought Jerry was rude and decided not to take a picture with the band because he felt unwelcome. We were also told not to shake Jerry’s hand because he had an “injury.” None of this deterred my love for him though, maybe he was just having an off day, plus I know he is uncomfortable around large groups of fans. When I met Scott Weiland, he seemed a little ‘off’ too, but he was still nice. Just kind of… aloof. Even Courtney Love was super nice to me, and some people have not-so-good stories about her. I’ve been lucky!

simon and garfunkel: what song(s) help you get through the day?It really depends on the day. I like to listen to film soundtracks, because they make even the bad days seem pretty epic (there’s nothing quite like driving over a long bridge-tunnel system at sunset with dramatic music in the background. My daily commute becomes a small adventure). When I’m homesick, I listen to “Tha mo ghaol air àird a’ chuain” by Julie Fowlis because even though I don’t understand a single word of Scottish gaelic, her voice sounds like home. When I’m happy I like to listen to “You Are the Moon” by The Hush Sound.
