This one may have them beat. Never in my life did I think I would read a ‘romance’ book that used the ‘hero’s’ confession of molesting his One True when she was 12 as the basis for the protagonists’ happily-ever-after.

Wine I’m used to sparkling cider. I tried wine. Once. It was extremely dry and I put it down and didn’t take another sip. I guess alcohol just doesn’t agree with me.
It’s possible you might like wine that’s a tad sweeter or maybe not. I didn’t like it as much when I was younger, but over the years, I’ve developed a taste for it. And now when I want an alcoholic beverage, wine is my default choice haha. Alcohol isn’t for everyone, though and that’s perfectly okay. :)
