Sanditon - one more episode to go
Short and sweet for a total of 8 episodes; this has been a surprisingly enjoyable show to watch (thanks to the recommendations of a few friends). Overall I’d say it was inspired by rather than written by Jane Austen. The quick-to-love the show fandom has been fun to watch grow and share.
I expect there will be a resurgence in interest once the show airs in the US in January 2020. Lots of very interesting characters, a wonderful cast and a few twists that I wasn’t expecting. Nothing like ‘is that incest or no?’ scenes to raise the eyebrows a shade. I hope the final episode isn’t too rushed; there seems to be a few loose strings to tie up and not much time to do it all justice. Many thanks to the people who quickly responded to help me watch Episode 7, though I’m not in the UK. Much appreciated! Will there be a twist in the final episode regarding Charlotte? Will it be text book Austen or something else?
Probably going to do a re watch if technically possible. Will *definitely* be recommending the show to quite a few friends for when it comes to PBS in January. I don’t remember canoeing ever being that interesting or sexy. One of my favorite fanmade videos of Sanditon so far (credit: CoolKatKerr)
