Don’t get him wrong, he loves the idea of being Niall’s everything, and in fact at one point had wanted to be it, but things changed when the other had become the Dark King and hearing Niall admit that he was not good at dealing with Irial’s loss regardless of who left whom. "You are my everything, though.”

Title to Follow (AU)

The phone call had been short, but Irial found himself hurrying out of his house, headed to Niall's place. The other had called and mentioned being sick, something that Irial hadn't even considered could happen so quickly after they had just gotten together. Yes, he was aware that the other person being sick wasn't dependent on whether he was in a relationship or not, but he couldn't help but curse under his breath.

It wasn't even because he didn't like the other enough. There was no question that he had strong feelings about Niall, but truth be told, he didn't do well with relationships. It was kind of hard to be when he was leading a pack--or rather, a gang. The tattoos on his body were menacing to some, and his intense stare either reeled people in or drew them away. Not that Irial minded when he scored some women, and besides, he could get away with anything. It was just that caring for a sick person was high on the scale of more intimate moments, and he didn't think the other knew him well enough to decide if he could be trusted.

But did it matter? He was already knocking on the door, wishing that Niall wasn't down with something serious and needing hospitalization. His features immediately softened at the thought. I shouldn't be this attached so quickly. But I am. And please, let him be okay.
