Dear Voxxen,

   I know how cliché this probably sounds, but unfortunately, by the time you read this, I won’t be here anymore. This time, not even your powers can save me. Well… they could but, it would be best if you didn’t, and I would just come back and stop you somehow. Either way, there are forces acting beyond our control that even now, I don’t quite understand. It’s best I end this now.

   Thank you, Voxxen. Thank you for everything. I know you’ll probably be sad and angry at me, but try not to trash the kingdom again. It wasn’t the city’s fault I had to die. You can come punch my gravestone as much as you want, I won’t mind. Remember, you always have Jabari, and if I’m any sort of judge of character, he’ll need you too. Tell him I’m sorry as well. I wish I could be different from his other leaving children but, I’m only human.

   I suppose, what I’m trying to say is, thank you… Thank you for everything: all the amazing things you’ve shown me, gifts you’ve given me, wonderful things you’ve done for me and for making my last few months some of the best I’ve had. I’m going to miss you, so much. I think that, if I hadn’t met you, I wouldn’t be the person I am, or was, at my peak.
