SHAILENE'S VIEWS SUPPORT FEMINISM. HER VIEW IS ABOUT EQUALITY AND FINDING A BALANCE BETWEEN THE GENDERS. THAT IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT. She believed feminism was about women having more power than men and she is AGAINST THAT which is a GOOD THING. We should focus on the fact that she was talking about how there should be equality between the genders and not on the fact that she misinterpreted a word. While she has the wrong idea about what feminism means, at least she has the right overall views.
Totally! Someone will gonna explain to her what feminism is really about and she will realize that it’s the same as her ideals. But of course, these big tumblr feminists just jumped on the first sentence she said without further reading into the matter.
And how very feminist is tearing another woman to pieces just because she has misinterpreted a word. Points for their lives.
