When you "close your eyes and think of Susie" in chapter 2, the entire cutscene actually follows Noelle, from being the first character we see, to not following Susie when she jumps down...

Which could mean we were actually thinking of Noelle

... and I only noticed that because in the fic, Dess is the SOUL and the one closing her eyes in that moment. So it goes to Noelle.
