So I have about 18 Trillion projects going on at one time, and each one has a masterlist. For my own sanity, I have decided to make a masterlist, for my masterlists. I am chaos.
Shorts
A masterlist for my writing, I write short, descriptive pieces where 90% of the time I like to break the readers heart. Also contains my writing project Beautiful Words (which may have it’s own masterlist too...).
Tarot
A masterlist for my original tarot deck. My designs are minimalist and super bad.
Haikyuu Tarot
A masterlist for my second original tarot deck. This deck is in fact anime themed and you can fight me.
World Building
A masterlist for all of my world building adventures. My world is named Aaldylerium and I can bet my life I will spell it differently nearly every time I write it.
The third piece in my beautiful words project. My other pieces can be found here.
Walk down through the grassy valley, and up along the icy hill. He knew the directions like he knew nothing else. Step across the frozen river, behind the old church. He ignored every other plaguing thought except the ones that reminded his tired mind of his final goal. He knew exactly what waited for him around the next corner, under the ancient oak tree. He had been planning this journey for as long as he could remember. His family had been trying to stop him for as long as they could remember. After all, he was only a little field mouse, how could he possibly hope to accomplish the impossible? Yet, here he was, his feet exhausted and bloody, his muscles aching and torn. The pain was nothing compared to the elation that pulsed through his veins with every beat of his tiny heart, the feeling of ecstasy when he realised he had made it.
He manoeuvred through the colossal blades of grass, the setting sun barely illuminating the strands with a warm glow, his breaths quickening with every step. The oak would be the best place to sit and watch, the ethereal tree standing strong at the apex of the hill, the branches weathered by the brutal attacks committed by the elements. The mouse sat by the thick trunk, the vast size blocking the wind from further piercing his fur.
The sun gave the horizon one last achingly incomplete kiss before disappearing behind the tall snowy mountains, making way for the bright glow of millions of stars to light up the inky black sky. The dazzling eyes winking down at the astonished mouse were not alone for long as they were soon joined by waves of radiant light dancing elegantly across the empyreal cosmos, the heavenly illumination drawing even the blindest of sight.
The rich colours of the lights soaked into his skin, the feeling of awe warming his shivering body, and he began to realise a tender truth. He knew that making this trip would be hard, but he had ignored the concerns of those around him in favour of his dream, the very dream that has come to a vibrant yet cold conclusion in front of him. There was nowhere to go from here. No more trips to be made, no more stories to be told. This was it. He found himself incredibly calm knowing this, drinking in the brilliance of the astral phenomenon occurring under the very same sky which he has always slept under, and he knew that he had achieved everything he had set out to do. Having made his peace, the little field mouse let out a yawn, wrapped his grazed tail around his body, and slowly drifted away into the same cosmic ether as the aurora that glittered above him.
Not really like an ode, cause I don’t know how to write them, buuuuttttttttt, I do know how to write shorts. This is my longest one at just over 1000 words, but she is worth every single one of them and more.
@nekxrizawa baby, this is for you.
This was not how I assumed this day would end. I found myself lost, wandering aimlessly through dense, intimidating trees, my body brushing against the bark as I step across the thick roots. My eyes constantly scanning the impenetrable fortress of lumber in a frenzied attempt to identify my surroundings, my body pulsing with fear. With every pace that I take, the trees seem to loom over me just a fraction more, it was as if the forest herself was hunting, and I was the defenseless prey. Out of the corner of my eye, I see a soft light glowing between the heavy branches of a thick pine, my steps suddenly faltering as I trip over a small rock in the undergrowth. As my knees hit the floor, I snap my head towards the tree, searching for the source of the glowing. I sit on the damp forest floor, my body frozen, my gaze never leaving the light, terrified that if I look away, the light will disappear. My eyes are stinging, the act of forcing myself to not blink causing tears to spring into the corners, and I don’t stop them from freely rolling down my cheeks as I slowly rise to my feet, legs shaking. My steps start slow, hesitant as I creep towards the light, but the hesitance quickly burns away when I realise the light is not coming from the tree itself, but behind it. I reach the tree that I first saw the light coming from, and hide my body behind the broad trunk; my heart pounding in my chest, adrenaline running through my veins.
The light is beautiful, the soft yellow seemingly glittering as it illuminates the suffocating darkness, and my hand reaches out of the shadows towards a beam of the light hitting the forest floor next to me. It’s warm. Sunlight. I immediately turn and run in the direction of the source. For the first time since finding myself in the forest, a sound escapes my parched throat. The sound is croaky but soothing. The noise breaks the tension weighing down on my shoulders, my body feeling lighter with every stride towards the tree line. I stop running as soon as my body has breached the last line of branches, the bright warmth of the light blinding me momentarily, my eyes taking a second to adjust to the new intensity. In front of me was a clearing, surrounded on all sides by the towering timber, the gentle sunlight blanketing almost the entire space, all except the soft shadow cast by the lone oak tree in the centre. The majestic tree is covered in ivy, the tendrils coiling tightly around the age gnarled trunk and climbing through the thick branches, mingling with the rich green leaves of the oak, a small smattering of gold dotted here and here, as the mighty tree begins to succumb to the autumn. I can hear as the breeze caresses the leaves, the sound mixed with the excited babble of a brook filled with crystal clear water that seems to dance in the sunlight. I can feel as my breath catches in my chest, the sunlight warming my once trembling form, the glow massaging my weary muscles as I fight to take in every aspect of the view ahead of me.
Then she steps out from behind the tree and settles in the flowers around the base of the trunk, her eyes closed as she leans against the tree and sighs. I want to walk towards her, or even just to call out to her, but I can’t. Once again I am frozen in place as shock overtakes my mind and I find myself on my knees, my eyes wide as I attempt to comprehend the ethereal being sat across the stream. I shift my body to get comfortable, tucking my legs underneath me, and I found myself just watching her. She has a soft aura, a gentle pink that envelops her body, causing her to glimmer even as she sat in the cooling shade, and hair as dark as coal that falls in silky strands over her shoulders and flutters tenderly in the breeze.
I sit there for a while and just study her, the slightly muddy white shoes on her feet, the lightly flowered blue dress which flares around her legs, the serene look of calmness on her flawless face.
Then I gasp as her eyes flutter open and somehow fall immediately on me. It was as if she knew I am here. Her rich, brown eyes are warm, inviting me closer to her, and I find myself slowly standing, my feet inching my way towards her as the look on her face shifts from a quiet peace, to a warm welcome. Her soft pink lips slowly stretch into a smile that somehow lightens the whole area further, her beauty surpassing even that of where we stand. As I get closer, she holds her hand out to me, small and delicate like the rest of her, her movements graceful and slow, as if she is expecting me to run. I plop down close to her and she places a gentle hand on my cheek, her fingertips brushing against my ear causing me to shiver slightly. A small melodic giggle escapes her lips, like the sound of a wind chime, and I gently press my face into her hand a little further, nuzzling her wrist. She laughs again and began to slowly run her hand across my ears and onto the antlers growing from my temples, her touch caressing the rough bones, a look of wonder lighting up her face.
We sit there for hours, as she reads a book to me, her words creating images in my mind, my eyes never leaving her form even for a second. It wasn’t until the sun began to set and a thin layer of goosebumps sat on her skin, that she begins to rise. She collects her things and turns to me one last time. A promise was made, a promise to return, to meet again, to continue our days with each other. We will never once break the promise, the two of us will meet every afternoon, even as my body gets weaker, and she remains exactly the same as she was on the day we met. One of the afternoons she tells me her name. A name just as beautiful as she, and though I can never tell her how I feel, I hope she knows. I am the deer, and she is Elle.

What if it wasn’t the disturbing of the water that made the surface of a lake ripple? What if the real reason was the lake isn’t actually what you thought it was? We are told that the moon has effects on the oceans' tides, could this be a myth handed to us by the distant past as an explanation to satisfy most, and a distraction from the truth? What is the truth you ask? No one truly knows, but there are some rumours, stories of a gateway in the depths of the lake, a barrier to protect from the evils lurking in the beyond. They wait, calmly, patiently for the most unsuspecting of victims, the cool caresses of the water enticing their prey closer and closer, the gentle pull of the currents inviting a sense of tranquillity in the air. The only sound carried on the breeze is the rhythmic heartbeat of a being at peace, the pulsing sound only drawing the demons closer to the surface, the spirits circling like sharks, the scent of their delicious martyr driving them crazy. Thump. The surface of the water disturbed. Thump. A sharp intake of breath. Thump. Limbs flailing, water flying. Thump. A body pulled into the depths. Thump. Somewhere in the distance, a bird cries. Silence. The water returns to a state of total calm, the only trace of a presence now resides abandoned at the shores of the lake, a beat-up, rusted old truck. Why am I telling you this? Why now?
Also, what about mirrors? Have you considered what may reside on the other side of our reflection? What if the demons manifested in the image of humanity? Perhaps when we look into the mirror and we don’t like what we see, it is our subconsciousness becoming aware that something isn't right with our appearance. Do you wonder if sometimes the demons reach through the glass and pull someone over to the other side? Maybe the demon then takes their place, impersonating their mark in a dark pantomime of power and destruction. Have you ever met someone who seemed to change overnight? Like their betrayal hit completely out of the blue? What if this is why??
I tell you of this now because you’ve got no choice but to listen. You need to know what is truly out there. We need you… I… need you. They’ve taken something that the world cannot live without, stolen the one piece of the puzzle that we cannot afford to lose, and I know that I can’t get it back. I feel so dumb, sat here talking to your gravestone, but I couldn’t keep going without explaining this to you. After all, this was why you died wasn’t it? They took you from me as a warning that I was getting too close to the real truth. The world was never supposed to be aware that we were just bred to be a feeding ground for the other dimension.

The first piece in my beautiful words series. The other pieces can be found here.
She slipped fluidly over his weathered skin, her silky body covering his completely, fitting snugly against every dip in his form. She was cold and steely, yet he craved her. He simply could not live without her. She did this again and again, as if her sole purpose in this world was to tease him, to lead him into a false sense of serenity and pleasure before tearing herself away from his loving grasp, leaving his heart to shrivel and burn under the undying heat of the raging sun. She always comes back, it may be the next day, it may be the next week, but she returns. This is where he finds himself now. Lost in the throes of passion with a woman he knows that he can't keep. He shouldn't need her the way that he does, but he can't stop the surge of need that pulses through him as her supple skin caresses his worn body. Gentle, life giving kisses are pressed all over his face, her lips the same icy cold as her mind, the temperature sending shivers running down his spine. He finds himself giving way beneath her, moulding to her every will, following every demand she makes, hanging off her every word. He drowns in the feeling of her, drunk on her embrace, her intoxicating voice murmuring sweet nothings in his ear. She presses into him, pulling his hands to sit on her hips, his fingers leaving deep, rich bruises, reminders of their most recent tryst, their sordid love affair. She leaves as quickly as she comes, abandoning his body in favour of her next conquest, leaving him dazed and shivering in the frigid cold of the dawn. As the day breaks, it is as if she was never there, the only trace of her presence hanging in the dewy morning air, the smell of the rain meeting the earth. The smell of petrichor.
Red is not only the colour of her dress, it is the colour of the aura surrounding her. The rest of the world turning to a dull grey, your mind solely focusing on the captivating beauty of the woman before you. Your eyes roam over the glittering bodice of her crimson dress; before being drawn downwards towards the long, flowing silks of her skirts which could easily be mistaken for flames taking over her entire body. The woman screamed confidence and attraction as she slowly walked towards your frozen body, her swaying hips enticing you deeper into her grasp with every step. Her lips were painted a matching hue, a rich, deep colour, and you can’t tear your eyes away from them, the way they move as her smooth voice utters your name, drawing you into her world. You feel her dainty hand embrace your own and she pulls you into a large clearing in the throngs of people, beginning the fast paced salsa, passing the charge onto you as you begin to control her movements, twirling her into your arms, and ending the dance by placing a kiss onto your wife’s lips. How this woman constantly did this to you, you didn’t know. But did you fall in love with her every time she did? Most definitely.

“Hey,” a hushed voice interrupted my slumbers, a smooth, silky sound; rousing me gently, though adding to my confusion. I knew not one who had a voice such as his, not an unwelcome sound, just unexpected 2 on a Tuesday morning. I cracked open my eyes and peered into the darkness at a man dressed head to toe in red; a beaming, lopsided grin plastered onto his face. He spoke before I could, once again in his hushed tone, “Shush, it’s okay, I want to take you somewhere.” He seemed trustful, warm and calm, so I gathered my things and allowed him to lead me into the night. The man in red took care of me that night, kept me warm and safe, allowing me to stop any time on the way to our destination. We watched the pastel sunrise on the roof of the tallest building we could find, sitting close to each other to stay warm in the frigid morning air. I turned my head to him and gazed upon his calm face, his features youthful, yet his eyes held knowledge of the entire universe.
Once the dawn had broken, he walked me to my front door, his steps languid, his face hidden from my curious eyes. The atmosphere around him seemed different now, he was melancholy; sad even, as he escorted me up the front steps to my door. I pushed the key into the rusted lock, however before I was able to turn it, my strange friend gathered me into a warm embrace and sighed a long haunting breath. When he finally released me, he rested his gentle hands on my shoulders and held me at arm’s length, glaring me in the eye before turning and walking down the steps, once he had seemingly found what he was looking for in my gaze, and stepped into the street. “Wait!” I heard myself exclaiming, “What is your name?” The man in red chuckled to lightheartedly himself and buttoned his jacket. “My name is Death.” Those were the last words he said to me. In that moment, his euphonious voice was the only sound in my head, his words swirling around my mind, over and over as I watched his figure disappear around the corner. As I turned back to my front door, I smiled softly, a gentle huff of laughter leaving my lips. I turned the key in the lock and gently swung open the heavy door to reveal a corridor of bright white light, compelling me inside. “Hello Death,” I muttered, another breath of laugher caught in my throat, “About time.”

I started this project when an amazing friend nicknamed me Petrichor. The word holds a pretty meaning, but the word itself is also beautiful. It inspired me to write for all of the beautiful words that I come across, each one gaining inspiration from my life, and from the lives of those I cherish most.
