CONFIRMED RELEASE DATE FOR THE LOVERS ! !
On August 30th, The Lovers will officially be dropping for free on YouTube. The movie itself is in tagalog, but there will be English subtitles, and studio heartbreak has even made sure the movie isn't monetised! Ad free.
The official trailer drops in a week.
The Lovers Beneath the Veil
Beneath a wan and wormwood moon two lovers moulder in bridal earth, ivory fingers intertwined where drink the rain of graves.
Once flesh adored flesh; now bone remembers bone.
Above them burns the Sixth Arcanum, its Angel terrible and radiant, presiding over ancient Mystery where Eros kisses Thanatos and Love descends beyond the Veil.
Solve et Coagula.
The worms perform the Great Work. Flesh dissolves prima materia; blood returns unto the Secret Earth, yet still their skulls incline together as though exchanging forbidden gospel.
two dead lovers becoming One within the black athanor of the grave.
What Love has joined beyond the Veil, even Death may only transmute.
If I had a nickle for a yuri anime/animation about a mermaid loving a human come out in the summer, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
The Lovers fan, where are we at?
