On the topic of art made by weirdo perverts, one of the most acclaimed books of the 20th century is Ulysses by James Joyce. If you read any of the letters Joyce sent to his wife you'd see how freaky that guy was and if you read Ulysses you'd see where that is put into the novel. Weirdo perverts can make some great, influential shit.

I know, I’m sorry, I was being a dick. I think my favorite is The Bleakness Before Our Old Eyes.

It’s really weird, but it’s exactly how I love to write and I had a great time getting everything to flow just right.

In theory, it would stop someone from being able to access your website or means to message you. 

But, really, it’s more of a band-aid now of days since there are many means of getting around it.

So how did you find out about star wars and become a big fan of it?

I had Battlefront 2 and Old Republic on my Xbox when I was a wee lass. Eventually, I watched the animated Clone Wars movie and absolutely loved Ahsoka and how she was a cool female character. After that I asked my parents for a Star Wars movie marathon, and they agreed. We rented all of the movies and had a fun time watching them together. :) I started watching the Clone Wars TV show and the rest is history.

Could you explain to me how down with hate got a backlash and where it came from?

Alright, here’s the rundown of it:

We have tumblr user JeanCrocker who had it in his heart to draw a picture of Steven Universe and Frisk from Undertale in shirts that had tumblr children favorite phrase ‘Down with Cis’ on them but the word ‘Cis’ was crossed out and replaced with ‘Hate’, creating the message ‘Down with Hate’.

Such a message was thought to be welcome as this website is far too negative with loving characters being drawn in ‘Down with Cis’ shirts and pastel candy-coated gore of mutilated animals saying ‘Dead Men are the Best Men’, and bollocks like that. 

So, it started trending in a small amount: people drawing characters here and there in garb that had the slogan on them.

... Then the children woke up from their naps.

Their main courses of action were, of course, to insist that trying to change their beloved meme was transphobic because of the origin of ‘Down with Cis’ being your average tumblr-fake-clickbait article post about a bunch of transgender people on a bus wearing ‘Down with Cis’ shirts. 

Something-something- you’re taking a fake story post that was initially transphobic and using it to defend being shitty people; what is your mental disconnect--

Anyway, they soon started insisting that ‘only Cis ppl would feel threatened enough to make something dumb like this~’. 

JeanCrocker, the one who started this message, is a transgender youth. A transgender youth who was so tormented by all of the backlash that their message of spread kindness instead of hate that they were almost suicidal. 

Oh, better yet that there are people already pulling what they did with Zamii: ‘Ugh, they’re such a pussy to be suicidal over something dumb like this; go outside!!’.

These are the same people who have probably reblogged ten posts that go ‘You never know what someone is going through on the other side of the internet; do unto others as you would have them do onto you.”

So, in solidarity with the original message and in disgust about how the children on this site are reacting to someone trying to have some peace and positive-thinking on this site for once, some of us have taken to spreading the message even more: adding sentiments such as ‘Spread Love’ and ‘I Stand with JeanCrocker’.

This, of course, is being met with more hostility and more people drawing Down with Cis pictures and even removing captions from people’s art (*ahem*) out of spite. And, even better yet, rather than see all of this and acknowledge: ‘Huh, maybe this is trying to bring something to light’, we’re already getting people talking about ‘Guh, I wish this would just die already; it’s messing with my fandom-blogging!’

So, yeah, that’s the gist of it. Tumblr children hate positivity like the Wicked Witch of the West hates water.
