My question is how many of those Lynera votes were yours. Did you steal phones. Are you rigging votes for the Worst.
[[I am INSULTED and also WOW you are just like. So very very wrong. Like dang, get a load of this guy.
PUNK. ]]
I see. Were you and Crowbar close? I do know he has a habit to attaching to those he deems needing a guiding hand. He has a bit of a paternal streak that he can't seem to shake. Is your connection to him something akin to that, or is your interest more altruistic? Not wanting to see bad things happen to good people and whatnot.
c| W-Well, uh, shucksh, I am indeed, uh, f-friendsh with him! Or, uh, at l-leasht, uh, I conshider him a friend! He’sh pretty, uh, inshiteful, and really helpful! Plush, uh, I don’t like sheeing othersh get hurt! Eshpechially my friendsh! |ↄ

Scanning her palm husk, refreshing every few seconds, Kanaya read Hops most recent answer, before heaving a sigh.
She had actually been standing in front of the recent modification to her lobby for quite awhile now. She just... Didn't know how to proceed. She wasn't even really sure what she was feeling; frustration, anger, guilt, hopelessness, all were swirling around in her head. She balled up her first and rubbed it against her forehead, rubbing it and closing her eyes.
It was like being eight sweeps old again; she couldn't remember the last time she truly hadnt known how to proceed. Even when... They, had all left, she still knew how she wanted to move forward. Even a stupid path was a sure one.
But here. She was out of ideas. She didn't even know what she would gain from going to see the mysterious stranger who had started questioning her so many months ago now. He wouldn't help her extract vengeance for someone who might not even be dead. Or couldn't. And there wasn't any reason to believe the masked gremlin would be on the other side of that door. So why go? And Yet...
The aperture called to her. For whatever reason. Maybe crossing that threshold would help her gain some... Peace? Something her sponge was quite lacking at the moment.
Offering another sigh to the empty lobby, she reach out, placing her hand on the green surface of the door before her.
Time to roll the dice.

Don’t even bother.
As soon as the airlocks hissed open, two figures would be immediately apparent. One of them was a massive, yet somewhat spindly figure that had to be upwards of eight feet in height. His head went right over the top of the opening of the door, despite his stooping, and the expression on his face could only be described as… untoward. Smiling but in a manner that could only be described as falsified. The moment the doors shot open, however, he made a grand gesture of bowing before the troll.
“Ahaaa, there you are,” the creature noted, sounding more amused than anything. Even as he moved the glint along his… carapace? Was hard to ignore. Something about him seemed extraordinarily metallic. Constructed. …Cast? Even his clothes had the quality to them, though it was a bit harder to tell what exactly was happening there. Some sort of metallic fabric perhaps. He didn’t leave much time to dwell on the thought however. “You must forgive my tardiness, I’m not often the one called for…” He gestured vaguely a bit with his claws(?) before standing up straight once more. “…social experiments. The good Doctor has been feeling a fair bit social as of late despite facing some rather serious issues as of late. But it should make for a good experience for Equius-”
The figure stopped, as if realizing who was with him. He glanced back at the troll holding his breath next to him, making a bit of a grimace as he did so.
“…..”
The figure mouthed something silently, though it was hard to tell if he was actually trying to speak, or just having difficulty placing words.
“Yes. Well. Kanaya!” he exclaimed, whirling back to face that who greeted him. “What an exciting moment this is. My name is Quarters. I am told the Captain gave you the necessary tools to expect me. I myself have been given a briefing on you as well.”
He lowered his head a bit beneath the door frame.
“Might we come in?” ---- Kanaya isn’t particularly taken aback by the troll and sanctian just sort of...looming outside her airlock, in open space, nor does quarters height really unnerve her. But... That smile. Eugh. Still, she was nothing if not a gracious host, offering the pair a small bow and beckoning them into the spartan room the airlock opened into, making sure to cycle the door behind them once inside. “Of Course Of Course Dear Do Not Worry Yourself About Any Percieved Tardiness I Was In No Rush” She spares the troll naught more than a quirked eyebrow, having no desire to make them feel self conscious about any shyness, and waits for the duo to enter fully into the room, much taller than the airlock itself. “Welcome To The Echo My Dears I Can Assure You The Rest Of It Is A Fair Bit More Accomodating Than This Little Utility Space We Can Move Somewhere More Comfortable If You Would Prefer”
