Here is my friend Joseph/Jocephus. Late two nights back a friend contacted me to ask what was going on with him & said he may have died. I freaked out & sent Jo a message to see if he was okay. He always replied quickly. While waiting for a reply I googled to see if anything was posted about a car accident in his city & unfortunately found a statement that Billy Corgan had made just two hours prior that he had passed suddenly & another article said it may have been a stroke or aneurysm. He obviously didn’t reply. I was in shock. Joseph was a wrestler for the NWA but I didn’t know him from that. I met him on set for a movie we both appear in (coming out in the future) called #debbiedoesdemons. We clicked & became friends right away. He was weird in all the best ways & super smart. He was a college professor!!! That’s like the coolest job ever. We were supposed to film for #bigfootexorcist in less than a month from now. I was so excited to see him in real life again finally. I’m so sad that that day will never come. I feel so bad for his son who he loved sooooo daaaaang muuuuch. He would do anything for him. I can’t imagine what he’s going through right now. I also know he was super close with one of his brothers (who he wrote scripts with) & mother. I’m sure they’re suffering beyond compare. Hold on to your people. This kind of thing can happen to anyone at anytime. This hits extra hard because he was a true friend of mine & he inspired me in more ways than I can count. I hope he’s right about the afterlife, cause he definitely deserves to experience paradise for the rest of eternity. I’d love to tag Jo in this post but he was not a huge fan of social media & chose to only maintain a fb account, of which he was always ready to delete. I always poked fun at him for his distain for social media but in all reality I respected him for his need for privacy. He was definitely one of a kind. Sending my love to his mother, three brothers & his beloved son today, with all my might.
