I am also doing Howl but in his bird form. would you have any tips on how to attach a few hundred feathers to a body suit/morph suit? I really want to avoid individually hand sewing! Cheers!
Sewing is your best bet for a secure hold. It may be difficult to machine sew because it is a stretch fabric and it will be covered with bird featuers but perhaps running a stitch acrross the top of a line after gluing in place (and allowing the glue to dry) will give you extra security? That said E6000 should work, or perhaps a high temp hot glue (in my experience the higher temperature stuff bonds permanently with spandex and stays flexible). Doing tests with some spare fabric and feathers are the best way to see how well the pieces adhere without ruining your morphsuit in the process ;) Since bird-Howl is fairly popular, you may also want to contact other cosplayers for advice on how they attached it and if it worked for them.
