It had been an off day for Nate. After losing the map to Atlantis in a game of poker, to having his ass handed to him when he tried to steal it back. Now after his beating he found himself at a bar, drinking himself into a stupor. Glancing around the room, one woman caught his eye. A brunette nearby who happened to be arguing with a man. When a hand was raised, Drake moved and grabbed the other man’s wrist. “Ever heard of not hitting women?” He asked, twisting the arm sharply to the right breaking the bone. The man glared at the treasure hunter, before turning on his heel and leaving the bar.
“People these days, it’s unbelievable isn’t i--.” He started to turn to where the woman had stood, only to see he was talking to himself and she was on her way out. “Hey!” He said, following after the woman. “You know a thank you is in order right?” He questioned with a frown. She wasn’t really going to be ungrateful for his good deed?”

“You know --” he began tailing behind Charlotte, purposely being obnoxious. “when we have babies you better hope they get your paleness. Because obviously mixed race kids are never first into those fancy prep schools.”

Charlotte wasn’t expecting the kiss but returned it before slowly pulling back. “What was that for?”

Kim smiled happily as she thought of a wonderful idea after getting off of work and she enter her apartment that she was sharing with her best friend. “Asteria!!! I’m home!! Thank~ it’s more of a backup interview thing in case it ends up being better than the offer I got the other day. We’ll see how it goes.
