So fucking proud of Joey. DJing back in the day for ska shows I would always buy all the opening bands records with my earnings. It was a way to uplift up and comers as well as keep the collection relevant. One of Joey's (lead singer/trumpet) bands The Steady 45s were/are a super talented group of musicians that have all done some impressive work. I've been able to run into them up and down the west coast. Seeing Thee Sinseers last night and him get his roses felt full circle. It was about damn time! The world needs more soul.
