Just this specific bit of your Hashino post: "We never even had the opportunity to have a female party member that isn’t a romance". I actually like this - tho ofc I wish it was every party member, not just the women. I actually really like how Persona 5 handled it, where you had a totally fine platonic relationship, and then at the end it basically asks you "do you want this to be more than that" and you can choose. I feel like letting the player make that happen or not is a fantastic solution.

What I was refering with this too is that I wanted a female character that was exclusively just our friend and nothing more (maybe a sister or just a childhood friend, maybe even someone already in a relantionship with anyone else besides the protagonist).
I just don’t want to see more Persona games pushing so much the fact that you just have to date someone, you can’t even spend your Valentine’s Day/Christmas with your male friends without them sounding so depressed over never getting a girlfriend, it makes me sad.
