There are a few mysterious gifts for Madotsuki. One very soft, rather large plush black cat with a small glass bell tied around its neck with a pink ribbon, bluetooth headphones with an MP3 player with a whole playlist of relaxing piano and cello music, some lavender scented candles, and a pink diary with a matching pen and a lock and key to keep the diary secure. There was a note left with the gifts: "A friend to hug when no one else can, a diary to vent, music to drown out the world..." (1/2)
“… And lavender candles to melt away the stress. You’re a wonderful kid who deserves the world and then some. You are loved even when you don’t realize it. Merry Christmas. Signed, Santa.” The handwriting looks like it could be from a certain starseed. (2/2)
[⌘]– Dangit, people are trying hard to make her tear up this year because SHE’S JUST SUCH A HUGE SAP!
Madotsuki takes a moment to check out each of the round 2 of gifts, even letting herself melt and sink into the softness of the large plush. Funtime Freddy is inspecting one of the lavender candles in his only hand, and would be scratching his head with his other if it wasn’t his secondary unit instead. “Birthday Girl, are you su-ure it’s okay to light these up? You’re alwa-ays telling about wha-at burning lavender me-eans in witchcraft.”
She lifts her face off the soft surface of the doll to look up. “Hnn? Oh. I know. But one candle should be okay for now– even the spirits could use it as of now, to be honest.” She’ll try asking Lost later.
While Funtime Freddy hands over that one candle to Golden Freddy to light it up, Madotsuki falls flat back on her bed with her headphones already on, checking out the playlist as she read the letter that came with this round of gifts, recognizing the handwriting rather quickly. If the gifts hadn’t made her tear up, the letter sure did, as she has to cover her eyes with a hand, but couldn’t help but laugh almost obnoxiously instead, especially after seeing who had signed the letter.
Mhmm. Suuuure. Thanks a lot, ‘Santa’.
