The cycle becomes part of the survivors daily activities and this is how it become tolerable but them and people around them. Women and children know that daddy will come in angry and prepare themselves. It generally takes a singular event that will cause them to leave but typically it becomes normal. This will then lead to excuses and and coverups because the survivor has learned to deal with it. Please understand this is not normal or love.
