Jade could be a little bit of an insomniac as is, but she definitely didn’t sleep well now when she wasn’t in her love’s arms, which was why she’d found herself waking up when she didn’t feel them wrapped around her anymore. It was all good though, because she liked to wake up early anyway, to spend time with Bailey, who was staying with them that week. “It’s all good, baby. You know I’d be up soon anyway. Where you headed to this early? Is see you’re dressed already.”

Who do we have here?” Axel knew his brother like the back of his own hand, so when he saw the familiar figure, he couldn’t help but sneak behind him to get a better look. “What the hell are you doing here?” It wasn’t like he had called ahead of time, so this clearly wasn’t just a trip to visit him and Roxi. In fact, there didn’t seem to be any forewarning of the unprecedented meeting as he slapped his older brother on the shoulder. “Seriously, no call or anything? Were you gonna try to get away without stopping by to say hi.”

Damon had kept most details about her mother to himself, only giving little things here and there, most of which were never good. He’d even kept the pictures hidden away for Pearl not to see her, trying to protect her from all the hurt he felt. Now, that all had to change. Mandy was in the same town as them and to keep their lives from going south fast again, he needed to be honest with her. “Pearl, we need to talk.”

As soon as those words left her dad’s mouth, she knew no good could come from it. Oh god, had he finally figured out her deepest secrets, and managed to approach her about it. “What...what do we need to talk about?” While she did have some fears as normal as getting caught at the bar or hanging out with dealers, there was also the more real fear that was less normal. Had the gang gotten caught up to them again? Was that hitman life after her dad again? “What’s wrong?” She could only jump to the worst conclusions.

It was like a weight had suddenly been lifted off of Jessica’s shoulders, because she’d been wanting to tell Sefa how she truly felt about him for so long now. She’d held back, however, always fearing she was going to push him away, because maybe things were moving too fast, but hearing him say those words back to her, made Jess get the biggest smile on her face, as she lifted her head up from where she’d had it laying on his chest, and she couldn’t hold back the happy tears that filled her eyes. “Really? You love me too? God baby, you have no idea how happy that makes me, and how long I’ve wanted to tell you how much I love you.”

After her big match and big moment, Jade quickly rushed backstage, because there were only two people she wanted to share her big moment with, her daughter and the love of her life, who were both there supporting her that night. She still had goosebumps as she made her way through the curtain, spotting Sefa and Bailey almost instantly, as she rushed over to them with the biggest smile on her face.

I didn’t mean to just blurt that out like that!” When it came to dating, and telling people how she felt about them, Cheree felt like she was the worst, because she could be so awkward when it came to these things. She liked Sefa, a lot, but she’d been having trouble finding a way to tell him how she felt, but apparently, she didn’t have that problem anymore, since words just flowed from her lips like it was nothing, although she was surprised he felt the same way. “Wait, wait, wait, so you ummm, you like me too? Like, as more than just a friend??”

If there was one thing about Sefa that drove Bianca crazy at times, it was his temper, and how he could easily get upset about certain things. Mind you, her man was usually calm, cool, collected, and the most laid back man on the planet, but when he got mad? It was nothing to play with. “I wondered why you deleted your twitter, x, whatever it’s called. Honey, was it really that serious? I get wanting to defend your family and me, but come on. I hate when you let idiots online upset you.”
