The first thing she noticed was the pain of her aching body. It hurt practically everywhere, disturbing her rather peaceful sleep. However, since this was the millionth time this happened, Jay was not surprised. She didn't like it either, though. She shifted a bit, the softness of the bed and smoothness of the blanket catching her attention now. This definitely felt better than the ground or a park bench. Confused, she blinked her eyes open once, then twice until she managed to keep them open slightly. The girl couldn't help but yawn, feeling a lot better than she had before despite the pain. Slowly she sat up, ignoring the fact that it hurt, and looked around. The surrounding was unfamiliar to her and thus she wondered how she had gotten here. She tried to remember but the only thing that did come to her mind was the blackness. It didn't take long for her to realize that she must've passed out and it let a quiet, frustrated growl escape her mouth. But she knew that at least she had tried her best, had fought 'til the end. But it hadn't been enough. She had still made a fool out of herself.
Her train of thought was interrupted by a sound coming from another room. Shifting her gaze, she got a look at someone standing in another room through the open doors. A figure familiar to her by now. Somehow she actually found herself surprised by the fact that Eric had taken her with him and not just left her there. It was a pleasant surprise, though. One that gave her a weird but good feeling in her stomach and made a slight smile appear on her lips. Leaning back, she pulled her knees to her chest and her smile turned into a grin as she shouted "I like my coffee with lots of sugar and milk, please!"
