I’m gonna group these since idk what I expected LOL Thank you everyone for being patient! I’ve had to put a lot of my recreational stuff on hold because COVID actually has me working more hours to meet deadlines. So here’s a little snippet from next chapter (unedited/may change slightly as I re-write):

“...So, make noise. Take up space. Let it out. Stop worrying someone is judging you because we all need this for different reasons and we're all focused on relieving our own stress."

You're nearly awestruck into silence. "Wow, look at you. Who is this wise person? Where did Jungkook go?"

He sighs and bends down to grab your water bottle. He offers it to you in a huff as he plops down beside you. When you begin to gulp down greedy pockets of water he wipes down his slick face with the inside of his shirt, but it doesn't really help this time since it, too, is covered in sweat.

"Ugh, I need a shower," he mumbles while stretching his feet out in front of him. He looks over at you suddenly and wiggles his eyebrows. "Wanna join me?"

You scoff and shake your head. "And there he is."

He jumps to his feet with a laugh and offers you a hand. "Kidding. Kidding. Come on. You're gonna need some sleep if you're gonna make our 5am sesh tomorrow."

You roll your eyes and grasp his hand with both of yours. "Ew. Don't call it sesh."

He brings you up faster than anticipated and your head feels like it's floating. Your legs are definitely more jello than flesh and bone right now and your knees threaten to immediately buckle when he starts to let go. His laugh gets caught in his throat when he realizes he’s the only thing holding you up.

Normally you’d be annoyed by his crazy inhuman reflexes, but this time you’re grateful. At least you think you’re grateful. It’s hard to discern your feelings when all you can hear is the sound of blood rushing to your ears. His free hand grips your sweat soaked shirt, long fingers digging into the flesh at your waist. All the while you’re clasping his other like it's your last lifeline to this earthly plane.

Wow, I’ve never mashed on a Tumblr notification so fast! I LOVE YOUR WRITING SO MUCH. I love the ‘voice’ of Ego!oc. She’s so witty and I’m always laughing out loud when I read some her inner monologue. I always really like reading her dynamic with Namjoon. They are the best of friends and I love it. Thank you so much for sharing this with us, I think I need to go and re-read Ego yet again 🥰

I’m not sure how to take that anon’s ask who said your writing sounds “old”, lol. Maybe they were trying to say that your writing is very developed when compared to other people they know who are in their twenties and that you have a talent/ability of someone who they would expect to be older (although I know lots of other people on this site who are in their twenties and are phenomenal writers, so maybe that anon just needs to expand their horizons, heh)

i mean just the way they were saying it was so accusatory!! and it isnt much of a compliment to simultaneously degrade everyone else in my age bracket smh. either way that kind of age discrimination is not welcome on this blog 😤

Just letting you know that, since MLT updates occur on Monday for me, I have taken to calling those days Moonlit Mondays ☺️

assuming you mean 1869!! Yoongi would be 20 in international age, 21 in Korean age. OC is two years older, so she’d be 22 & 24 respectively!

though they are young by our standards, do keep in mind that the stages of life back then were vastly different. young girls regularly got married in their teens, so honestly i think of them as older when i write. probably around their 30s if they were living in our time!
