that’s the thing right? everyone was unhappy with what a raw deal catherine got, i mean everyone was rightfully very upset how they treated her reaction to mary’s birth because it sucked! i think we all just kinda emotionally disengaged after that? we were like well that not katherine of aragon not sure who that is, but even so i think their nending on koa being like oh well guess i’m gonna leave and not fight u on this henry bye! sucks! it totally sucks and i hate it!

Oh thank you so much! I’m a writer and I’ve been in fandoms for many many years and I know that it can be really disheartening to write things and feel like no one cares or you’re not getting validation. Especially when you start to compare yourself. 

But like fanfic is supposed to be fun. It’s supposed to be something you do in your free time and because you enjoy it. And sometimes I think people forget that and start to put way too much pressure on yourself. It’s why I try to only write things I’m actively interested in because it’s something I want to explore or write about. And yeah, not always getting validation or kudos or anything like that can sometimes stuck when you put so much work in. But if you frame it like this is for me and I’m sharing it with other people, it helps remove that extra pressure. At least it did for me. 

Now I’m in no way an expert or like a highly well-known fanfic / fandom writer. But I am a writer in real life and I can tell you that 95% of it is hyping yourself up and selling yourself. And you can’t do that if you don’t like what you’re working on. So for what it’s worth and who it helps, I’m happy to share!

Yes! Last time I warched it, I couldn't even finish season 2 cause my brain was being stupid, so I'm starting from the beginning again ksjhksfg I've literally just watched the pilot last night, but this time I'm actually paying attention so I'm very excited!!! I'm also planning making my family watch it (when we finish Ghosts) so it's gonna be an immediate rewatch lol
