Loki was bored of his many days of locking himself away, in his chambers, reading, and failing to attend all social events, including the basics of mealtimes. In fact, to Frigga's dismay, the cooking staff and servants informed her, when asked, that Loki had not even been accepting food sent to his rooms, but turning it away, claiming he was not hungry. For Loki, a mere piece of fruit was enough to keep him sated, but it seemed he had not even been consuming that. (continued)
So, now, after five days of not leaving his room, and refusing even the meager foods that he always ate, he finally emerged, paler and thinner, by comparison, and bored. He needed something other than books, right now, so he found Thor eating in his own room and smiled, padding into it and planting himself onto Thor's lap, his bony bottom rather uncomfortable against Thor's muscular thighs. He let out a great sigh and leaned into Thor's chest, closing his eyes.
Thor kept eating as Loki entered his room, hardly noticing his silent approach until he was crawling into his lap like a cat. Thor had noticed the lack of Loki's presence, though that was not unusual of him and it had been a busy week.
Thor paused as Loki moved onto his lap, and as Loki sighed and seemed to settle – Thor continued to eat. Though a few bites later, he'd look down at Loki – noticing his paler complexion and the awful point of bone that dug into his thigh.
"Are you alright, brother?" he asked, fully aware that he wasn't. Thor shifted slightly, getting Loki's bum bones to just fall off his thighs.
