Makoto accepted the gift, but glanced at his blue haired friend warily. He didn't know how everyone seemed to know of and be prepared for his birthday, but it was... Starting to weird him out.

"... Thanks, Gaku. Say, when's yer... Birthday? Gotta return th'favor, shit like that..."

There he was again, using those cutesy name endings. Irritably, Makoto opened one of the eyes he had screwed shut to cast him a sort of glare, but the look softened considerably upon noticing the concern in his features. Casting his glance away, Makoto mumbled, "H-Help m'get up, will ya?"

“Does it hurt if I touch?”

It wasn't the first time that Makoto had had a bit of an accident in the work shop. Sparks, needles, small flames -- usually he could take it all. His skin was hardened to deal with these sort of things. The fact that something as dumb as a bit of spilled oil could cause him to slip, fall, and land with excruciating pain on his left shoulder was almost too embarrassing to function with. Here he lay, on the cold concrete floor of his workshop, just trying to pull himself through his shame and back to his feet.

The embarrassment was nearly doubled when he heard the voice of someone else reverberate around the room. It was that kid with glasses -- the one that had helped him before -- Gaku, was it? Either way, he was crouched beside the repairman, gingerly reaching out towards the injured shoulder...

"Dun touch it!" Makoto hissed before proceeding to grip it firmly and hold it tight to his body. Pain rang through him like excruciatingly loud church bells; violet eyes were squeezed tight as a reaction.

≈ does your character prefer lying on the beach & sunbathing or swimming?

Actually, seeing as Makoto's swimming outfit is a blue surf shirt with lava-lamp-patterned swim shorts, he doesn't sunbathe. At all. The sun is not his friend. He burns v easily. BUT. BUT BUTT BUT. Makoto will get really intense about beach spots. Like volleyball. He's got crazy good hand-eye coordination, so you probably want him on your team.

☂ what are your character’s rainy day activities?

Most of Makoto's rainy day activities are the same as his sunny activities -- work, work, work. Although, he probably will take out his motorcycle on a meaningless joyride just to speed through puddles and take advantage of the reduced friction.

✯ for their birthday, does your character prefer to have a huge celebration with all their family and friends, or do they prefer a small gathering with close family and close friends only?

Small gatherings, absolutely. Makoto really values his solitude, but at the same time... He'd actually be silently flattered that someone even bothered to throw him a party.

"Are you lost?"

Makoto glanced irritably over his shoulder at the slightly taller young man that had approached him. The truth was, in complete honesty, that he had had no idea where the hell he was. He'd never been called to do repairs on this side of the school, after all. So as he continued to stare down the window at the end of YET ANOTHER dead end hall, all he could do was gnash his teeth and mutter. His grip on his toolkit tightened instinctively.

"Maybe. Who wants'ta know?"
