1: Origins! How did you come up with the concept for your OC?

Thera was first created in 1998, as part of the Hercules/Xena fandom - we were on Geocities, if that gives any perspective. She was invented for a fanfic I wrote at the time called 'Mother's Love', and yes she was one of the dreaded 'OFCs' (original female characters). It was long enough ago that I can't remember the exact process, but the invention of Thera and the Guardians came along as part of that fic.

Fast forward to 2012, when I fell head first into Tumblr RP and needed a character to use for that rather than playing as myself, and on shuffling through my past muses Thera seemed the best fit (this is why she started out sharing my personal blog for so long before moving to her own).

3: Has your OC gone through different incarnations during their stay on Tumblr? Were they reimagined or have they stayed the same all this time?

She was slightly modified in the initial transition to RP, mainly cosmetic differences (she used to be a red/auburn-head). Her backstory and origins have remained the same, as have some of her surroundings (the apartment in NYC, for example).

Since she started in RP she's kept the same incarnation for her main 'verse, but now there's a bunch of AUs springing up, some of which have different versions/backstories.

7: What does your OC look for in a friend? Do they value friendship a lot?
