Serpentine. Weave and duck. Just make it to the next bit of cover - watch for movement, make sure you attention doesn't stay focused on one spot for too long. Never stay still. Is that one of them? Duck. Peek. All clear, keep moving.
Thoughts rushed through Uhura's head as she made her way through the ruins of the once bustling town, hustling to make it out - preferably alive. She had a phaser tucked in a holster, and her hand floated not too far away from it as she snuck by open areas, favoring the maze of tangled metal and fallen buildings around her.
Hearing a noise in the clearing she slowed down, peeking out to look. A figure stood, yet it didn't look like one of them. She held back, keeping an eye on the figure - was it friendly? She wasn't sure she wanted to find out. Her eyes flickered from the person to the path she was following, trying to calculate if she could make it across safely, when she glanced at them again. Squinting, she could swear it was him, but once he turned and she saw his profile, she was sure.
Spock. He was alive, and he was right there. She wanted to call out, to shout, to cry. She looked around for some way of announcing her presence. Pulling out a small rock, she tossed it, and promptly missed. She threw one more, looking around to be sure she wasn't going to alert anyone else to their presence, and it hit him on the upper arm - and so she stood out for him to see, and hopefully recognize.
