Hannigram I mean how could I not? But also willibloom because I just want Will happy and argh how Alana resists his puppy dog eyes is beyond me. My brotp is totally Will and Beverly

2. When did you watch the show? When it aired or are you just watching it now?

I started watching it the week I joined tumblr which was just after trou normand aired. I remember seeing the power points with "We are her fathers now" on and being like whaaat? okay I'll watch that.

3. What do you like the most about the show?

Oooooh when I first started watching it was Wills empathy scenes, I only knew Hannibal from silence of the lambs so the whole getting into a killers mind and re-enacting the crime thing was so cool, not just deduction like in Sherlock. Now I think my favourite part is Hannibal human veil, re-watching to catch all the cracks.

4. Do you like Jack Crawford?

Yes I do, but I can see why others wouldn't. Although I love him more for his scenes with Hannibal than his scenes with Will the "USE THE LADIES ROOM" line crack me up every time.

5. Team Hannibal or Team Will?

My immediate reaction is a shocked Team Will obviously but honestly I want Hannibal to be free as long as possible just to watch him play with the FBI.

6. Do you think Alana is going to go crazy with all of those dogs?

Awh I think Winston will keep them in check for her

7. Apart from people sushi… what would you like to see Hannibal make in Season 2?

His and Wills wedding cake (haha)

8. Even if your ship will never ship in the show, will you keep watching it?

Of course! In fact I'd rather it didn't become canon (just for the sake of Wills sanity) I do want Molly and Will eventually though otherwise I'll be a little put out.

9. Do you like the way Hannibal dresses?

Yes just yes.

10. If you had a chance to be on the show, what would you want to play?

As odd as it sounds I think I'd like to play a victim. Holding your own prosthetic intestines looks pretty fun.

11. Hannibal takes an interest in you as more than a patient… do you go over to his house for supper when he asks? What do you wear?

Hi :D I just had a thought on Hannibal cinematography. In Trou Normand, when Will finds out about Abbigail killing Nick Boyle and goes to see Hannibal, that frame where Hannibal's hand is on Will's shoulder--they lingered on his left hand, where his watch was (you can see it in the shot). When he hugged Abbigail, they had his left hand right up in your face again--and the watch was peeking out again. Is this me being too ambitious about patterns, or was that something intentional?

Hey! Yeah, I think that might be a little bit of a bridge too far. When he's hugging Abigail, the association we're meant to be making is definitely his strangling Miriam: the blocking is eerily similar. I'd guess that his left hand is on top just because he's right-handed, and so his left hand lands second. In the case with Will, I think the blocking just worked out such that his left hand makes more sense.

If they were really trying to control when we can and can't see the watch (which means controlling how much his sleeve stretches, what a pain) in pursuit of some sort of meaning, I think they'd make a much bigger point of the watch itself--we'd get establishing shots of it, or long shots focusing on it, or shots of Hannibal putting it on and taking it off. Little "hey notice this" shots like the one that shows us Hannibal leaving the car keys on the table in front of Will. IMO the show really hasn't asked us to notice the watch in any particular way, and it's usually pretty good about letting you know when a lion is in the room, so I'm content to declare the watch innocent. :)

At the moment, I'm partial to this one:

I'm just in love with the fact that he put the flower crown on with such enthusiasm!  As far as I'm aware, he has little experience with the type of fandom culture Hannibal has spawned, but he seems to have embraced it.

Hi again! ^.^ I'm a nerd to Tumblr and only had 3 followers, so thanks for the follow. :3 I just had another thought on Hannibal's behaviors or tics. In the last scene of Savoureux when he's about to walk down the corridor to see Will, and he pauses before the dramatic song starts playing, is it possible that he was playing it from/through his memory palace? Is it possible that he associates that particular song/piece with Will?

Only 3?!  That's criminal.  

I'm not sure if you know, but the dramatic song is called Vide Cor Meum, which means "See My Heart."  Astoundingly appropriate, right?  It gets better.  The lyrics that play over that particular scene are, I believe,

I am your master

Behold your heart

Seriously apropos.  It seems like the perfect song for Hannibal to play to himself to mark his triumph over Will and one that he would associate with Will.

But it's also really fucking creepy because the song Vide Cor Meum doesn't exist in the NBC Hannibal universe.  The song was written for the movie Hannibal in 2001.  If he knows the song, that means he has knowledge of his own universe well outside of the narrative.
