You never forget your first time. Sixteen months into doing CrossFit, I competed on my first ever competition along with other athletes hailing from different parts of the country last Saturday. It was by far, the most strenuous physical activity I did but I was glad to overcome them and exceed my expectations on some of the WODs (setting a PR on my Power Snatch and Hang Snatch). Of course, I know there are some weaknesses and skills that I still need to work on (gymastics and weightlifting as well) but I will be gladly doing them because I would really like to come back stronger. I am just inspired by being with other strong competitors that I know put in a lot of hardwork to reach the level they are right now. I never expected that the all out support from my coaches and co-athletes from @irondencrossfit would mean a lot especially during those times while waiting for the next event.
