I wanted to let you know I put Minthara in your Spider Weave outfit. But I equipped it on her before long resting after rescuing her and for some reason that kinda bugged the outfit in a really funny way.

Because now Minthara is just always covered in a slight spray of blood no matter how much I wash her.

That's actually a base game bug ! ( or uuh feature i guess )

minthara's is coded to ALWAYS have some blood on her, not enough to be noticeable with vanilla armors but modded armors with custom materials are notorious for having a messed up blood build-up

this mod fixes the crazy fast build up of custom materials:

Non-VT Shader Fix (Correct blood and dirt display)

Global fix for CHAR_BASE_AlphaTest_2S shader, which is commonly used in plenty of clothing mods.

And this one removes the built-in blood code part in Minthara's character visuals:

Minthara - Dirt B Gone

Removes baked-in dirt and blood from Minthara.

Or there is this one, which completely remove the dirt/blood build-up

Disables dirt and/or blood accumulation. Now comes with optional files that enable you to better customize the amount of filth you accumulat

Do you mind if I ask where you got your 3D models for the Mass Effect trilogy? And even more so do you rigg them yourself or did you find a way to extract their riggs from the games?

I use a combination of models pulled from the game and stuff I model myself, either from scratch or by modifying an existing model. It all just depends on what I need and how much effort I'm willing to invest in what I'm working on (lol). When I do rip models from the game, I usually do end up re-rigging them from scratch because the in-game armatures are meant for the game engine and can be a pain in the ass to work with.

If you're looking for models to play around with in blender though, Deviantart is actually a surprisingly good place to look! There's a pretty big community of people on there who rip game character models in general, as well as specifically for use in a program called XNALara. If you search '[character name] model' or '[character name] model xnalara', there's a good chance you'll be able to find something, you'll just need an addon to be able to import xnalara models into Blender.

Also as a disclaimer: I'm happy to give 3D advice, but please know that I am Not Actually Good at 3D. I'm just very good at getting things to technically do what I want through sheer force of bullheadedness while having no idea what the correct, likely easier way to do it is. I have been working with 3D on a weekly basis for over 2 years and only figured out what shape keys do a month ago ._.

There is a fanfic writer who has disappeared from tumblr for YEARS now who wrote a reverse harem self insert fic with all the major AU skeleton brothers. But that's not important right now.

The IMPORTANT part is that although like most reverse harems the majority of the boys are interested in Y/N, the fic had a VERY unique and interesting friendship naturally grow between Underswap Papyrus and Underfell Sans (not as a ship, but as a friendship) and it was so fucking good! It was so fucking good!!! Godammit!!!!

Ohhh every fanfic enjoyer knows this grief well 😔

I enjoyed one recently that really surprised me with how compelling the friendship was between the Y/N and a bitty, especially a Swap fell Sans bitty, which is usually one of my least favourites.

I love being pleasantly surprised by fanfiction~

Hey Bunny! I was wondering; Do you have any idea if the novel for "Ocean Waves" is one to one with the Ghibli film version of it? I recently watched a video about the unintended queer subtext between Taku and Yutaka and I was wondering whether this was something that wasn't in the light novel and added by Ghibli, or if it had more focus in the Light Novel which was downplayed in the Ghibli movie (like how so many 70s shoujo had to basically pull a no homo in the final chapter)

I don't unfortunately (I was hoping those scans I did years ago would peak someone's interest enough into translating it, but I don't think it did as far as I know) if there is a translation for the novel out there I'd love to read it.

The love triangle is still present in the novel from what I can tell looking at Japanese wikipedia so it's very possible it could be one or the other. I'm looking at the author's (Saeko Himuro) body of work and it looks like she's famous for writing dramas aimed at girls/women and mentions Moto Haigo as one of her inspirations. Just from that I'm willing to bet that the novel has more subtext between Taku & Yutaka than the ghibli film lets on haha
