It rained in LA on Friday night. Hard enough that it leaked through and soaked our rug in the bedroom. I came home from an early morning appointment on Saturday, opened the door to E and E dresses in full rain-gear, declaring: “ok! Let’s go find a muddy puddle now!” So cute, there was no way I would say no, and after last couple of long and hard weeks, it felt nice not to think about anything. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out though where they got this muddy puddle idea? It rained like 2 times total since we moved to LA last year. Peppa Pig! Turns out there was an episode once about muddy puddles. I’m telling you, guys, this power of story telling is the best teaching tool ever.😄 . I’m tired. Last couple of weeks were really intense for me. Looks like my body had enough and decided to crush. So, I canceled everything and spending a day recovering and recouping. Stress-free. Full of fun. I’ll pick it all up where it was left tomorrow. . On that note, I stumbled on a heated discussion about partnership and family on one of my friend’s accounts. One half stated that in marriage all important decisions need to be made together, and some things should be sacrificed for the sake of family and other thinks that people should not be limited by marriage and do whatever they want to do, and the marriage partner just got to accept and tag along. That particular case touched on if married guys can do whatever they want to do, even if it is something dangerous. I’ll broaden the question up a bit - can a partner in marriage do whatever they want to do, even if dangerous, regardless of whether they have a family/kids or do kids/family hold them to a responsibility to consider the family first and personal desires second? A side note, that is very important and I want to share and support: I just found out that apart from being made from recycled materials, @Parklandmfg partnered with One Hand to AnOTHER, inc to donate portion of their profits to support camp programs ( science, technology, engineering, arts, mathematics and motivation) for predominantly low in-come and at-risk elementary and middle school students across the US. All my boys are crawling this way! Isn’t it funny? Anyone else’s baby crawled like this? No signs of walking for those who are asking (although I am not in a hurry). When did your baby start to walk? У кого еде малыши таким образом передвигались? Бабушка наша всегда делает попытки переучивать, но как только бабушка уезжает, карапузы вновь за старое 😂 Признаков свободного шагания без опоры нет и в помине пока, но, будучи мамой 7го малыша, я его не тороплю. I’m absolutely in love with this video! Yeva is the videographer - she took all the footage, I edited to fit into a minute, but there is so much more that got left behind! I love letting kids record! It is SO fun to see the life through kids eyes! Yeva has free reign over the camera, the same way Nikola has for still photography, and she records amazing footage. I’m not just saying it because she is my daughter. I honestly think she does - what do you think? . I laughed when she caught Elia’s “we can eat it!” at beanbags, Evyianne giggles are priceless, and loved seeing her “bts” on how the whole working+balancing kids looks from the side. Those who are asking - that’s one of the ways how! Justin was taking Vasilisa to king-fu at this moment, and we are literally steps away from the office space, so we can easily leave or trade 🤗 while being easily reachable and kids can have fun too. For us, 80% of the balancing act is in the locations🤗 . PS: I don’t ever want summer to end. Anyone else feeling the same? PPS: Guys, don’t believe anything bad you hear about teenagers. Having teens is AMAZING. Евочка-видеограф: вся съемка - ее, мой только монтаж, чтобы важное влезло в минуту, но столько моментов осталось за кадром! Я очень люблю, когда дети снимают! ТАААК интересно видеть восприятие мира и окружения их глазами! У Евочки свобода пользования камерой так же, как у Николика была свобода для фотографирования, и она записывает великолепные отрывки! Я это говорю тут не как мама, а как наблюдатель со стороны - ведь правда же интересно?! . Мне особенно понравились моменты, когда она поймала Елечкино «мы их сможем съесть!» о подушках, живой смех Эвианчика, и ещё «закулисные» моменты настоящей жизни. Кто просил кусочки жизни? Вот самый лучший, наверное, из серии «как совмещаете?». Джастин повёл Василису на кунг-фу, а мы, что называется, буквально в 2х шагах от офисного помещения: отойти, но быть легко досягаемым несложно, так что мы можем⤵️ (at Los Angeles, California)
