first of all: THANK YOU for all the love you’ve given the fox cub. i genuinely didn’t expect so many of you to care this much about riley, and it means everything that you like him, protect him, and yell at me on his behalf. it really does feel like we all watched him grow up together.
now… after some time to think (and accidentally scaring half of you), i’m taking the major character death tag off the fic. what does that mean?

riley’s going to college soon. will it be PSU with cameron? will he end up with the trojans? will something else happen entirely? (i know. you don’t.)
the ravens are coming back. riley won’t be under his dads’ protection anymore. things are going to get messy.
why a new fic for the college era? because andrew and neil won’t be the focus anymore, and i need a clean line between what the story was and what it’s about to become. new problems, new threats, new identity crises. riley’s going to have to stand on his own two feet and figure out what it means to be riley minyard josten—especially when his name gets leaked to the media.
