What an inspiring lady, proving it's never too late to change 💚🌱🙏🏻#Repost @anneeversfraser with @get_repost ・・・ Did you know that only 20% of how long you live is dictated by genes and the other 80% is lifestyle? Me either! l was just introduced to this on the @richroll podcast when he interviewed Dan Buettner who studies Blue Zones (places where people are living the longest) and I want to share because it is so empowering. This knowledge can literally give people their life back. You don’t have to succumb to the diseases that “run in your family” but you do have to make the connection between your food and lifestyle choices with your health! I’m here to tell you it’s never to late. I was at a low point when I watched the documentary @wthfilm. I was diagnosed with Afib and put on a medication that made me feel horrible. The stories of sick individuals going plant based and getting off their medications gave me hope. I went #plantbased 3 weeks before my 96th birthday and guess what? My Afib went away. I also made it through a ruptured appendix on this diet. I have so much more energy that I started teaching chair yoga and meditation again!I share my story because I want as many people as possible to get this information and take back their life! And if they need some inspiration show them this chair yoga sun salutation by a 96-year-old who went PLANT BASED and is THRIVING! #thefutureisplantbased 🌱
