auDHD MARSOC headcanons (based on my experiences and my friends' experiences with autism and ADHD) (inspired by the autistic Muffles ask)
He gets distracted far too easily (he literally got distracted from a task to jump a bear with Muffles)
Crayons are his comfort food
He arranges his boxes of crayons by number of crayons in the box (8, 16, 24, etc.; the largest box of Crayola crayons has 152 crayons). He will stab you (literally or figuratively) if you move them.
He has the impulse control of a marble
His special interests are the history of crayons, the history of alcohol, and the history of the USMC
He wears a mask and sunglasses so he isn't expected to make eye contact with anyone. Also, emoting is hard, a mask and sunglasses takes care of that problem.

So that image is a fucking fever dream-
I’d like to present an alternat idea for @littlegrayram’s awesome demigod AU; America, Canada, Ukraine and Ireland are demigods but Marso and Doc aren’t.
They were all regular humans until they came to Normie’s world. Now they’re something more/different. None of them knew this was going to happen until it did and they didn’t get a choice in the matter.
The first person to go to Normie’s world – from a specific country in our world – ascends and becomes the embodiment of that country in human form. That person can know anything about the country they represent; the geography, history, current political state etc.
They were once fully human and all that knowledge would drive anyone mad so mostly, they don’t think about it unless they need to know something specific. The knowledge still tends to leak out and makes them all at least a little unhinged.
None of them can die naturally e.g. old age or liver failure isn’t ever going to be a problem. However, they can be killed.
Before Jason became America Wizard, he knew the person who would become the Canadian Barbarian. They were friends but Canada was often someone who’d take a joke too far.
When they met back up in Normie’s world, America was genuinely freaked out. America and Canada (the countries) are also often friendly with each other and, because of that, he knows what Canada was like in WW2. If his friend used to take a joke too far as a mortal, what would he do as the embodiment of the country that’s partially responsible for the need for the Geneva Convention?
Marsoc and Doc didn’t ascend because America Wizard was already there. However, if he died, one of them would take his place. They would gain his memories. If there was another America Wizard that died before Jason can to Normie’s world, then Jason has his memories.
Neither America Wizard or Canadian Barbarian were there for WW2 but they both remember it as if they were.
America Wizard doesn’t know how much of himself is still Jason. He remembers being Jason but is he still that person or has that flame been completely consumed by becoming the embodiment of America? He had a life, friends and family before he came to Normie’s world. If he went home, would any of them even recognise the person he’s become?
Even though America, Canada, Ukraine and Ireland now embody the courtiers they represent, when they were human, each of them chose to leave that country and go to a whole other world.
America, Canada and Ukraine are all fairly newly ascended and are still learning about their powers. Irish Monk has been there the longest. He’s been there since the potato famine. If he left and went back to Ireland, he would crumble to dust the moment his foot touched the ground (this is a thing that happens to some characters in folklore, if they spend too long in the fae realm).
