Jason wasn’t sure why he was here. He was passed off like this- from Tim to Bart. He remembered being handed to Tim from Bruce, because Bruce went into the clock- the clock, isn’t there a cave down there? No, yes. Maybe? 

The thought fleet his mind as fast as it came. His mind just can’t focus nowadays. It comes, goes, in and out. Normally it’s just numb- now by no means is he stupid. He has emotions, feelings, wants, likes, dislikes... but it’s just harder. His mind can’t stay focused, emptying out to keep him from focusing, protecting him rom his thoughts, his memories. 

And this Bart- so familiar but so not. It’s like he can recognize him, remembers how he feels- but he doesn’t. He just can’t bring himself to really remember. So he stands there, in the doorway, staring at the man. His mind cocked to the side as he looks at him, arms hugging himself. He feels he should be scared of the stranger- maybe? But not. Not really.
