10% Less Will Make the Difference
The water we consume per day is not only the one we use for washing, drinking and sanitary, there is water on everything we consume to the point that each person in Britain consumes 150 litres per day just on food and goods (this without counting what we really consider the focuses of real daily consumption). Yes, we consume a lot more water than we can even imagine.
There are studies about aprox. 3400 litres of water consumed per person each day in Britain, over 1 million each per year, alarming and disconcerting amounts.
Water is a precious resource, we should always use it carefully, it's not as abundant as you might think. If we can reduce consumption by at least 10% in the tap water for example, that would save 5,500 litres per person, per year. And calculate how much this will be for the 56’000’000 people in England?, large numbers, right?
