i’m so sorry your ask got eaten @thegreenkid ! 😭 but here are my thoughts 💜:
- i think marcus is not what the typical definition of “badass” is. when i hear that word i think of someone who is ruthless, brutal and gets straight to action.
- actually, i feel like marcus can be a bit clumsy lol! especially when he’s been out of practice with the heroics and his weapons, his body might be slow to remember how to fight properly. however, muscle memory can always be retrained, so i think he would pick his skills back up easily with a bit of trial and error 🤺
- marcus is very methodical, sometimes to a fault. he tries to instill peace before anything, which is a very admirable trait of a strong leader. but when dealing with an enemy whose only objective is harm, this quality can put him at a disadvantage.
- with the combination of his inept skills and overplanning, it can be a recipe for disaster 💥
- BUT when he is in practice, he’s a very skilled heroic! he didn’t earn the title of leader for nothing 🖤 he carefully coordinates himself and other heroics to win a fight not necessarily by brawn, but by brains 🧠
- i think he would use his superpowers in lots of different ways! he could use his magnetic strength to strip the enemy of metallic weapons, he could bend steel beams to form a cage in order to trap a particularly large threat, he could regain his own weapons if they have been dislodged from his grasp while fighting; the possibilities are endless! ⚔️
