She's also a newly chosen Green Lantern, sent far away from Earth to protect the City Enduring--a gigantic metropolis of over 20 billion people--by their request. The city has been peaceful for 500+ years after removing the citizens' ability to have emotions. Six months after her arrival, Jo must help solve the first murder to break the peace. The world-building here is great! There are three main races in the City Enduring: the keh-topli (sentient carnivorous plant-people), the @at (pronounced at-at, "artificial intelligence" folk), and the nah (humanoids with wings and a tail). The artist did an amazing job with the different types of peoples here, cityscapes, and other backgrounds. I love their use of color. I really enjoyed this!
